    I am still kicking myself about boilers. We bought a fancy V@illant one when we moved in, cost c. £5,000. Boss had a similarly ancient boiler, got it free via a government scheme :/ My main thought was the environment, so it's not lost what a friend gets, eh? o:)
    True enough.

    I'm so bad at keeping up but in fairness I've been doing two jobs. However exam marking now completed (six very full-on days).

    DD2 has been doing a performance this week so a LOT of running around.

    Every time I come up for air, UKr Mum monologues at me. She's had advice from an untrained charity worker to find another host in a city. This will be quite hard, I think, because most people willing to host have guests already.

    DS did fab in his SATs. DD1 finished the first uni year with a 2:1 (I know it doesn't count towards her degree.)

    We're staggering on until we get paid our exam money, which I hear the exam board is bogging up left, right and centre.

    @apple_muncher DD2 does lamda too, it's cool.

    Dc loves lamda- all that masking can be put to good use at last!!!
    Impressed your marking was 6 days. Both of mine took me about 20 of the allowed 25 days, fortunately with no overlap! I'm awaiting the cap ending in a few days, to get a few more pennies.

    Thank you!

    There will be a little flurry of marking for DH on Monday and for me next weekend, but after that no school runs (ever again!) no marking and just my day job.
