Thank you all for the much needed hugs and hospital and renovation advice.
STSS I understand that to be an operation that you've waited years for? Wow, Covid delays?
So DH safely ensconced. Only after we discovered he'd booked the wrong t lodge and not the one next to the hospital. So quick internet booking. I shall be ringing in 15 minutes to make sure he's up.
I meant to get him to leave his wedding ring at home and forgot.
I don't think sleep will be a problem, cabin crew have had to wake him up during take off before, he could sleep on a stick.
The hotel manager let slip she thought he was my Dad. Funny, sad, tactless all at once. The age difference is less than a decade.
My two youngest were great, I was so proud of them. They never whine or moan, they just help.
Surgeon is going to call me but I am not expecting anything until late afternoon at the earliest.

Kick off was 9.30 and I'm not expecting news until mid-late afternoon.
I have a start date for my new role and I appear to have bought an aga (or the other way round, it's hard to be sure).
Dry January may have got a little damp last night.5 -
