My panic over the resignation email missing a sign off was ill founded as it turns out. Yahoo mail app glitch.
It is lovely to see your comments, thank you.
There is talk of DH getting out on Tuesday (great escape theme plays) but I'm not sure how as he still has all the tubes in and is still on morphine. There's a bit of a wally arrived in the bed nearby who's one of those "nurse! nurse!" types.
DD2 feels yuck and is missing Saturday drama. DS has gone fishing (brrr). Visiting this afternoon.
It is costing a fortune in diesel and parking which was inevitable.
I've got the wm and dw on, I've ordered more logs (just finished burning DD1's bed that she broke!) and I'm going to try to get some more jobs done before lunch.
Have a great Saturday everyone!8 -
So nice to hear someone else burns whatever is to hand… I have burned floorboards, old fence panels, pallets, chairs and the stairs. In fact, today I need to rescue more bits of fence from the neighbours to turn into kindling!7

I've just spent my £30 per month silly money on...
Two red cotton tops
One navy cotton cardigan
A navy frock
A pair of slippers
A pair of flippen floppen
At everything£5 with the MSE code.
It will be interesting to see if I am pleased with them.
I put back some scarves and a pair of trainers.

My last clothes purchase was November (a t shirt with a Boden voucher) and before that two pairs of work trousers in September. Loads of my clothes are over ten years old and exhausted and I need to have a clear out.6 -
