@debtfreewannabe321check how much electric it uses - my range came with a slow cooker setting so I got rid of my slow cookers (big one and a little one) only to find it cost a fortune to run so ended up rebuying them.Sealed pot challenge 822

Thanks for the links. The pegs are the same as I can get from my allotment shop (I don’t want to know where they come from 🙄) - as to the big river link, I won’t buy from there, but it is a useful way of sharing items! Non-fraying membrane sounds like heaven!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Thanks @beanielou - dreading going back tomorrow as I’m really not sure what I will be walking into. 🤷♀️
You’re welcome @themadvix 😊
Bimbling day here but got a few things done:
- tackled all the washing from Mr K’s bedroom floordrobe - all his summer shorts washed, dried and ready to go away 😊 Also wrangled his usual weekly wash and all the towels.
- cleaned the bathroom and the loo, emptied all the internal bins
- wrangled a present for Mr KK that arrived today into a secret location … 😉 unpacked and placed the new doormat, disposed of the old one without all the rubbish contained within, going everywhere 😊
- tried the new method of washing down the greenhouse that I picked up from GW on Friday evening - bowl of hot water with washing up liquid and vinegar along with a microfibre cloth. Works really well and doesn’t get me soaked from head to toe and freezing cold, as trying to wash down with a brush and hose usually does 👏
- pulled a whole armful of dead, standing things from the veggie patch and weeded a couple of square feet of one bed - the psychology being ‘I’ve started!’ 😉
- dead headed the cut flower border and cut another bunch for the house 🌼 😊
Read some novel, cwtched Chloe (at her request), watched some Call the M 😊

I think your no. 2 needs a verbal warning. Threatening not to report something that it is his job to report/document/assess is clearly something that needs to be addressed.5

I’m going to take him to the HSWA notice and get him to read the employee’s duties to me, out loud …greenbee said:I think your no. 2 needs a verbal warning. Threatening not to report something that it is his job to report/document/assess is clearly something that needs to be addressed.

@KajiKita please remember darling that You. Are. Right. What will happen to the whole company and everyone's jobs if you allow it sleepwalk into a disaster? A rapid secondment to a totally different department would be a kindness though I totally agree that getting the Juggins to read his job description out (some of which will be statutory duties) is an essential interim step. Standing by for news. Love Humdinger xx3

And they wonder why industrial relations are so bad in this country. What do they expect when those supposed to be trying to keep them safe refuse to do their jobs.I confess I don't have a clue what you do - but please keep doing it.3

Darling @KajiKita how are you? News from today? Love Humdinger xx3

I wasn’t going to post until tomorrow as there has been more PC drama this evening which has sucked up another hour, but in brief …Humdinger1 said:Darling @KajiKita how are you? News from today? Love Humdinger xx
No. 2 is behaving like a whipped child, all a bit wobbly lipped, avoiding speaking to me whenever possible, avoiding eye contact etc. 🙄 He wasn’t actually working for me today - he was covering holiday for someone else and probably won’t be tomorrow - the production manager asked if he could cover a machine to release an operator for urgent deconstruction of a customer sample, I suspect No. 2 thinks that’s me sidelining him, but of course he didn’t have the cojones to actually ask me. 🙄 I can’t be doing with all this psycho-drama 🤷♀️ so I’m going to leave him to it until next week … I’m sorry if this sounds a bit mean, but unless I wait until he’s got over his shock st the realty of the world a bit, I will really lose my patience with him.
I found out today that the machine had actually been e-stopped, which whilst not perfect was better than someone climbing straight into a live machine. The supervisor who did the being in the machine was tipped off by the production manager that I wasn’t happy and fair dos, came up and spoke to me about it off his own bat. I pointed out how machines have absolutely NO conscience and that in his role, that he’s setting the example to vulnerable and less aware people such as temps - he got it. We’ve agreed that we will move a lock out - tag out station into his area so it’s immediately available and review the SWP for changing blades for the machine he was in and the other one in the area. I’m happy with that. I’ve made my point. 🤷♀️
There was masses more of day, today but that probably covers what you want to know about? Thank you for checking in on me xKKAs at 15.12.25:
