    Very good @Brewerspride 😂😉😊 I haven’t told Mr KK, I think it’d make him self conscious… 😊

Thanks @skint_spice and you are most welcome @beanielou 😊

I was aiming for a quieter day today but I seem to have spent the entire day cooking …! Making a new veggie roast thing from the Gaia cookbook - oh my word, it’s a lot of work! Really hope it comes out okay otherwise that’s a lot of ingredients, time and effort wasted … 🤞

Didnt really get outside today - no time! 😳😂 But we have, between us, dried Mr K’s washing on the one, which I take as a proper win in October! 😊 Mr KK actually got down to the cellar to put his washing on BEFORE we curled up for a cup of tea together, so we could make the most of the drying time today, he stated …. Colour me amazed (and impressed ❤️) 😊 I was swamped in chopping, chopping, chopping (so muuuuch chopping for this loaf thing) so I delegated bringing the washing back in to him, which he did without a murmur, and folded it up and put it away 😊👏

Herbs from the garden used today:
    - Parsely
    - Sage
    - Thyme x 2
    - Rosemary
    😊🌱

Chloe has vigorously catted today - started with yowling outside my door to be let out early, then burst back in demanding breakfast (I fed her, dear reader), then crashed out again to return with a dead mouse which she batted around the living room for a bit (and growled at me when I tried to take it off her 🙄), then took it in the hall and ate it. Or nearly did … something went wrong and I heard the classic pumping noises and eruption of a cat being sick … She wanders past me, licking her lips, and slid out of the cat flap again, leaving me with the hind quarters and some unidentifiable innards of a mouse and a lot of other ‘mess’. Fortunately these ‘deposits’ were on the front door mat, so I was able to scoop the whole thing up and spirit it out to the black bin and clean it up outside … Dreadful, uncivilised creature! 😂😂😂
Remind me again, why is it, that we have a cat …?! 🤔😂

Thanks to my friend inspiring me with something she bought for her SiL, I think I have (finally!) managed to order my dad a suitable birthday present! (Phew!)

Veggie roast should ping shortly … Can’t smell it though as Mr KK is cooking coq au vin so that’s drowning out everything coming from my meal 😉🤷‍♀️😊

The veggie roast was really good. Very happy with that 😊 I will make the sherry sauce recommended for it, if I decide to have it at Christmas 😊
