I read it that Mr KK was going to be strutting along the cat walk or at least the living room.

Very impressed that you have a glass salt cellar and a cat. We never managed it.Β
    Sorry … πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š
No cat we have ever lived with has ever shown any interest in glass salt cellars … πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Its a been a looong day (woke at 3am and was awake for a couple of hours worrying about something that happened in work yesterday - now dealt with after discussing with my boss this morning - someone else has been given a sink or swim project off the back of it!).

Raised a PO for Β£33K of electrically integrated guarding,
had yet another session on the (many expletives!) H&S records spread sheets πŸ™„,
got a quote for Β£61K’s worth of extraction / filtration systems which I passed to my boss,
stepped up when it became clear that the person who’d organised the presentation for our site manager’s wedding present wasn’t actually willing to speak / present,
uploaded all my documents for my mileage claim and then discovered I have to set up my car identity - took all the rest of the day to find that button so will try that again tomorrow …
Fire doors installation and remedials are finally booked to start on 20th October.Β

The other significant thing that happened today was that my boss signed off my probation period, 3 weeks early so I am now on a permanent contract 😊

The £69.59 TCB arrived so that has been sent off as an OP along with a TT of the joint current account of 74p! 😊

I was going to go up to the market city after work tomorrow, for lunch out, sell a digital camera I have no use for and look at clothes in EWM but, the forecast is so dire and I am so tired after this week that I have decided to give it a miss and I will just come home instead …

Save the lunch and city trip to a better day, you will enjoy it so much more. Instead come home and recuperate.

I suspect it was the manner in which you raised the concern that made him so adamant.

You’re not overstepping and very probably πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
Having a boss that brushed me off once he’d completely overloaded me and I started to struggle and then the next not knowing what to do with me and using me in a much lower role probably didn’t help … πŸ˜‰

Thank you for the kind words 😊
