KajiKita - the firm would be mad not to have you signed up! I'm glad things are going better - H&S spreadsheets aside 🫤
Your DH's model looks spiffy. It minded me of something I saw on TV the other night (probably a repeat), it was Henry Cole's programme......'Shed & Buried' 🤔 And actually, it must have been an old episode, as the lovely Sam Lovegrove was on it, with his gorgeous hand-knitted headwear 🥰 Anyhoo..... they went to the midlands motorcycle museum, which from memory is.... Meridian? Warwickshire? And the accompanying shots inside the museum focussed on a whole raft of military despatch type bikes. I'm sure the answer to this is yes, but has MrKK visited this museum? It's amazing where military paraphenalia crops up, as I'm pretty sure there are some bikes from WWII (and possibly WWI??) in the Sammy Miller museum down in Hampshire too.
I realise there's a strong possibility MrKK has done all those places anyway.
Also, I'm a strong supporter for you making a calendar up for MrKK for Christmas, using his vehicle pictures 😁

From your description I'm beginning to think you have the same automated expense system as we do - complete nightmare to figure out how to put a vehicle in the system, and by the time you have to do it again, you've completely forgotten how!
Congratulations on early probation sign off! Another vote here for letting this help heal your previous 2 experiences.1 -
My usual shortage of explanation. Meaning he could well be used to someone being aggressive etc & you just stated your case. Much easier for him to just have to deal with a problem than to have to deal with the raiser of the issue too. I'm not sure I've made that much better now.2

The other significant thing that happened today was that my boss signed off my probation period, 3 weeks early so I am now on a permanent contract 😊

Fantastic news KK. You've obviously made a very good impression since you've been there3 -
@debtfreewannabe321 😂😂😂😉
@Greying_Pilgrim, yes Mr KK has done those museums … 😊 But thank you for thinking of him. I’m working on the calendar … 😉
Thanks @Viking_mfw 😊 I suspect it’s not the *exact* same expenses system, but boy do they have much in common wherever you work … 🙄😉
@badmemory, Tbf my boss has been dealing with this person for some time now … They don’t fit with the new culture or ethos (positive, supportive, JFDI) that my boss has built since he joined and the project I suggested is that individual’s last chance to add value I think …
Thanks @Brewerspride 😊
I deliberately came straight home today but due to the mis weather and being tired after a hectic week (I think) I have been eating ALL the junk! 🙄😂
I have managed to pay the builders merchant bill (really hope we are getting to the end of these now) and the credit card monthly bill. Done all my financials and set up a new YNAB tab for October in my spreadsheet. I have added a budget line for visiting my parents annually including accommodation, fuel, food, presents etc etc. of £770 / £64 pcm, which seems like quite a bit, but is probably realistic.My savings are static atm, which is okay I guess when I’m still paying off building material bills but I really want to build savings and make more OPs between now and the end of the year.Coloured in 5 more blocks of my house and, if my calculations are right, I am within £13 of hitting my OP target of £4,900 in 2025 😊🤩KKAs at 15.09.25:

Mr KK came home today after visiting his mum and extending the Christmas lunch invite to her and her best mate. Apparently her eyes lit up and she said something along the lines of ’That will give me an excuse not to go to …. (Mr KK’s sister’s house)’.Looks like I will hosting Christmas lunch this year …. Sigh … At least it’s made Mr KK’s happy …
I am a VERY good wife!
