At least Chloe missed Mr KK :)   And you are glad to have him back!     Hope the food/eating mindfulness coaching helps heal the past. Much love x
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I think it was just so peaceful last week, without the television being on absolutely constantly. Didn’t miss that AT all! I am going to have to find somewhere to sit if an evening so I can read in peace I think. It was really disturbing having the TV on again last night and I just couldn’t read and found myself being restless and stressed, which is not what you need before going up to bed!

It leaves you in a strange place where you’re glad to exist, whilst at the same time thinking your parents should never, ever, have had a child … 😉

But that allows the realisation that you did nothing wrong. It really was them, not you.  It is very freeing and can be quite powerful to admit.

There is nothing wrong with no having missed him.  He is your luxury item.

And it still is them …. (Dreading the visit coming up in September…).

Re the TV - would he use headphones when watching?  Really good quality ones, maybe bluetooth/wireless?

I'm cheap so I would likely go for the £29 pair but my OH likes quality sound so would probably prefer the others.  Both available from Richer Sounds which is a great place to buy kit.

That sounds like a highly sensible decision to make a transformational investment into something you love to me, and a good way to claw back some control in the garden.

Nothing wrong with getting someone in to do the 'heavy work '. Consider it a proactive mental health expense.
You will benefit more from it being done now, than beating yourself up after spending a week in this heat doing what they can achieve in 48 hours.
They have the right tools for the job.
Plus you can recommend them to other people !!
I do envy people with gardens. Money spent at the right time of year reaps dividends later.
My pumpkins and courgettes look like they are considering fecundity. My cuke has a single flower,  I have green tomatoes on the vine, and embryonic purple runner beans!  Not bad for bucket planting.
