This is the carrier I have @KajiKitahttps://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MGH27ZS?th=1 I think it (or something similar) was originally recommended by @redofromstart, partly because they fold flat for storage.

Wimsey is a one off foe sure!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
As Greenbee says I ended up with a soft folding pet crate which has a zip entry through the front and through the top - much easier than the old gated front one. Evil regularly sleeps in it if it is left up, despite it having been his transport to the vets several times. I went with a small dog size so that they have room to turn around and to lie flat. Evil is very tall as well as being a bit on the chubby side.Mes Brady could break out of the plastic one as I found when she escaped and decided to sit on my knee on the way home. I was driving at the time. I do miss her.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I got a lovely zip up cat bag from Aldi years back. It would fold completely flat, had a removable and washable fleecy base, zip up door and a shoulder strap. Most sensible thing I've ever seen.
Like this one but I paid, I think £7. But that was about 20 years back!!! Gave it away when we no longer needed a cat and someone at the food bank needed an easy way to transport their pet.

Thanks @greenbee, @redofromstart, @brie. I have shown Mr KK the links and we’re going to go to a pet megastore at some point, to have a look at these soft, zip up cat cages in person so we can get one he agrees is good.Chloe has a had a quiet day, mainly sleeping, doing a little eating and quite a lot of litter tray action!Mr KK had a good time at the auto jumble. He didn’t find any levers (apparently always the ‘holy grail’ at these kind of events), but there was a good atmosphere and he found a couple of ancient vehicle manuals, ‘W’ headlamp clips and various other small bits and pieces. I meanwhile potted up a couple of the propagated plants for my houseplant mad friend and the tomato plants I bought a couple of weeks ago. Nice session on the sofa with Enterprise and tapestry and then lunch with said friend and another ex colleague from my old workplace. Lots of ex work gossip - all very much the same and in fact worse - actually makes me VERY glad I no longer work there!I did buy a few plants where we had lunch but when I got home I didn’t plant those 😉, I worked with Mr KK to replant the huuuuge fern he had to dig out to make room for the path between the front door and the potting shed. He had at it with a saw and we chunked it down to 4 smaller pieces that I recycled into the copse 😊👏 I then carried on transferring volunteer plants from the veggie patch to the copse; mainly foxgloves and purple loosestrife but also a spiky fan like leaf form with stems of pale yellow flowers (not sure what it’s called).Chloe has just had a bit of lap time with both of us and is now installed on her sofa ❤️

Poor little sausage!! She's so worn out with it all!!!
I'm always amazed at the colouring on their skin that you really only notice when they're shaved.
And is it just me or does she have a kink in her tail??
