No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I like being called a warrior - not sure why  though! (maybe it was walking 5 miles in the sleet to my gym in November? :)

Woken up feeling odd. Very headachy, tired and wobbly. Also seem to have a toothache that is swopping places between my upper and lower left jaw …? Really wanted to make the most of the brightness and relative warmth in the garden today … not sure that will happen.

hope you feel better soon.  Sending hugs
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

It sounds as if you need a rest. It may be frustrating to miss out on outside time, but try to enjoy looking at it from inside with a hot drink and a cat.
