We have a couple of emergency pizzas in the freezer for nights when we haven't got time but OH prefers home made pizza.

Melting technique sounds very useful. Sorry you are still feeling the after-effects of previous job.

Ref savings account; I highly recommend a Chase Account both for day to day expenses and savings
Can easily move money and has a round up account so that amount soon adds up 😉

  • Afternoon KK, just catching up with you. Loving the day off stories, it's so good when you feel like you've achieved something on them and had a good time too.
I use a cord cutting technique when feeling PTSD triggers. I find that very useful for me. I also use another technique which is probably considered a bit too witchy-fied for here but it's all about intention to me and it helps me process. I say do what you gotta do. I've turned down counselling before now because 1- they took forever to get back to me when I was at my very worst. 2 - I had already found other methods which were working (forgiveness and meditation specifically).

I can't wait for my garden to be ready for a bit of planting up in the spring I'm needing some garden therapy 🪻

Hope you have a lovely Sunday off ♥️☺️

    Awesome on the pizza.

A thought on the counselling which comes a sort of pal (someone I met on a course)  and mentioned processing PPH trauma who asked if rehashing it in counselling was the best plan?   She explained that, as a hypnotherapist she thinks the brain just relives it as if it is happening again and again and that it can retraumatise. I thought it was an interesting view.  I did solutions based hypnotherapy after a chat with her.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Thanks @South_coast, I have used just plain flour for pizza bases (when I first started and wanted to see if I could manage to make them at all!) but we both prefer the texture that you get with strong flour 😊

Needle savers are wonderful things @~FlowerPot~, but they do become a bit addictive … 😉

Thanks for the support @CCW007, I know you are facing your own struggles atm.

@MFWannabe, you are not the only one recommending Chase accounts. Once I retrieve the funds I will have a look 😊

@beanielou, I fully intend to be kind to myself. That’s partly why I don’t want to go down the counselling road unless I really have to. I’ve done it before and I know I just don’t have it in me atm to cope with it.

    Sounds very good @baileysbabe 😊

Thanks @debtfreewannabe321. I think I am fairly witchy myself in some ways … 😉 The melting technique is one I learned from a Buddhist priest who also worked in a psychiatric unit.

@watty1, I think you have hit the nail on the head for me. I really don’t want to dredge up all that carp when I am running on nearly empty as it is and still need to function. I am thinking of contacting a lady I saw before who does voice based sound baths, 1 on 1 as that was helpful before, if I can’t manage it for myself.

    So, today ….

    Usual late Sunday start 😊

Had a nice morning in the sofa doing lots of tapestry.

Pushed and nagged myself out into the garden for an hour this afternoon to do another session under the pine tree. My technique is getting better and made more progress than yesterday. Took two wheelbarrow of bark down there as I wanted to see the effect, although it’s nowhere near finished yet. No further tools broken in the process of today’s clearing! 😉

Between the garden work, a Walkf1t workout and general doings, I got to 7.4K steps - good for a Sunday 😊

Contacted Kent &Stowe about a new handle for my garden fork … 🤞

Small OP of £3.17 made thanks to TCB monies 😊
All financial updates done. I’m spending too much. I will work my way through this at the end of the month to see where it is leaking away …

Watched the next episode of Digging for Britain 😊
