I am happy you are happy and sounds like the interview went super well!DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Thanks @Flowerpot_2, @Brie, @debtfreewannabe321, @LadyWithAPlan 😊 Still feeling chuffed and buoyed up this morning.Lost another lb. Could have been 2 but the scales were hovering / havering at 7/8s of a lb so I rounded it up. It should make getting next week’s lb easy, yes? 😉🤞😂
Going to have a day ‘off’ from ‘shoulds’ and just do what I enjoy today - I let you know what that ends up being later. The cats do have a clean food tray though … 😉❤️

It’s been a good day here 😊
- Whilst waiting for toscos delivery I have worked my way around the houseplants, deadheading / dead leafing and watering. Also rearranged the ones in the living room so they are in a size ‘cascade’ which looks more natural I think 😊
- Repotted my avocado plant as it has stopped growing (pinched out the growing tip at the same time) and potted up the broken off bits of indoor begonia - the variegated one with small pointy leaves that are a vivid lime green and deep maroon and has small white flowers with bright yellow stamens. That releases a glass to go back in the cupboard! 😉😂
- Spent c. 3 hours in the garden, primarily doing doing more weeding clearing of the patio - the second big bucket I had to retrieve the wheelbarrow to take the bucket down to the compost heap, as it was so flipping heavy! I can ‘see where I’ve been’ 👏 and I even managed to retrieve some teeny pieces and a viable looking seed head of Erigeron to plant in the edges 😊❤️
- Swept down and pruned back the cotoneaster that was growing over the concrete step into Mr KK’s garage. It’s very visible from the house so I am pleased I have done that job. Also, lifted and emptied the gravel trapping mat that he has just inside the door and swept underneath it.
- I have popped in some heuchera and cyclamen coum that I bought around my birthday - they are bark mulched. It looks far more intentional and pretty now and I can see it straight from the back door, so it will be encouraging to me to keep going in the garden through the winter …
- Lifted and washed down two dahlias as per Monty’s advice last night 😊 They are now upside down in the potting shed to dry. 👏
- Finally, as a reward to myself, I cut some roses for the house 🌹 😊- I have been rewatching a lot of ‘sort your life out …’ and it has prompted me to have a conversation with Mr KK about the kitchen. He’s happy to have me go through the cupboards and have something of a clear out. It would be good if we could clear up the table that is in there that is literally two feet deep in stuff now …! 😳😢 But to do that we need storage elsewhere … which means a clear out … I will hopefully start this tomorrow.- Also spoke to Mr KK about the conversation I have been having on @LadyWithAPlan’s thread about crypto. He’s not worried about me researching it and having a ‘play’ with it 😊 Think I will start with the free Princeton course LWAP linked to 😊
All in all, a positive and productive day 😊

View from back door door steps that we use all winter. I am leaving the strawberry and chive plants and erigreron in the paving but there is still a lot to do …
