I have finally accepted defeat, given up trying to read your whole diary and am just joining you in the present moment 😂. I have a terrible habit of wanting to read diaries right through which means I miss out on actually chatting and cheering people on!

Good luck for the charity job application 🤞🏼.
Awwww … thank you for trying and welcome to the random chat about mouse-presents and gardening 😊 😂

If you do get far enough along the process to discuss salary you may be able to negotiate reduced hours to compensate (or they may have additional funds that they can release given your experience), and then free up some time for freelance work/consulting.

Definitely worth trying out the cv and the process before you find the absolutely PERFECT job! This one sounds like it fits many of the boxes at least 😊

You might need to kiss a few frogs before finding the ideal job - so - go for the charity job and see what that vision board creates :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

What about if you include travelling time in hours?  I'm guessing it might not make much of a difference for you, but when I include the hours travelling and work out my hourly rate it makes a big difference.  So I'd rather be nearer home with less actual salary and then utilise non-travel hours to make up my salary (selling stuff etc.) and save money (e.g. home cooking etc).
