I'll just have to resign myself to being beaten on steps daily. It's not like I'm not used to it from previous challenges. I did start the under-desk treadmill up today (2 mph while working) so my IT band is killing me. 

What’s an IT band …?

I only managed 4200 steps today, and I was in the office and moved between buildings at one point too 🙄 I used to have regular step challenges with my sister but then she got an apple watch 😂

Poor old Pampered Prince! I was looking forward to Colonel Colon having to manage him 🤭

Iliotibial band - a band of fascia down the outside of the thigh. Treadmill walking/running doesn’t have any variation in movement, so tends to make it tight.

the under desk treadmill beats sitting on my bum for hours. I have in the past managed over 20k steps in one day of very boring management meetings 😇

Glad the pampered prince got his comeuppance. Captain Colon is unbelievable!

Well done on the gardening. Hopefully some indoor days will help you get some actual resting in too.

Ah, mine of those are horribly tight too - I had no idea what they were called. It’s one of my focus areas in my yoga sessions 😊
Presumably the under desk treadmill isn’t actually weight bearing? Well done on the 20K steps 😊

That’s why I wasn’t prepared to submit to Captain Colon’s performance management of me … Looks like I read it right! 😉

Rather to my surprise I slept pretty well last night, I must have really needed that sleep yesterday afternoon. 

No significant plans for today - more work on CV, work up a ‘to do’ list, loosen off some curtains in the snug so they close properly (at Mr KK’s request), possibly some gardening if there is dry spell - might focus on the patio weeding so the bird feeder is accessible from when we come back from holiday. That reminds me, I need to dig out the LCs pet vaccines passports for the Cattery.
