Glad you are processing in your own way. I did a vision board that led to my job before this one and then onto this one with the same organisation. I got very quick results. I've also done similar for houses in the past and its worked. I obviously need to do one around art and writing.,,Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yesterday ran away from me … 😊
- skimmer turned up and made the first mix so wet, his two trowels of it fell of the wall …. 🙄 I will be sooooo glad once this job is finally finished!- Wrapped, wrote a card for and packed the birthday books for my dad.- Did a little more knitting on my sleeve - we are getting into the complicated bit now so I am going sloooowly … no mistakes so far! 🤞
- Ate up aging mushrooms and spare halloumi for breakfast with a piece of toast 😊😋
- Wrangled toscos delivery
- Headed out to post my dad’s parcel - I have done it early enough that it could go second class.- Got a full refund on the weird office trousers - £44 back
- Tried to find other work trousers in Sainsbugs but when I got them home none of them fitted … Will have to take those back at some point in the next 4 weeks for a refund but have an idea of the styles / fabrics now so will try buying some online from them.- £78.73 cheque arrived for the annual wayleave payment - I will shuffle that off to joint house savings as that is very sadly depleted atm ….- Planted up the rest of the winter lettuces and kale in the greenhouse 🌱
- Started clearing the veggie patch from trimming the grass etc in front of the greenhouse and starting to work up the paths from there …. It is very slow but I can see where I have been 😊 Hit 1@K steps across the day 😊
- Harvested some parsley from the greenhouse and took a HG shallot from store for our curry salad for dinner 😊
- Realised that getting my CV updated and the wording right for the green ring post I will do on LI is worrying me, so I am making a plan to start nibbling away at that next week before we go on holiday. The weather is supposed to be pretty wet next week so that would be a good use of my time, and moving those two tasks in would allow me to go on holiday without guilt 😊
- Got Mr KK’s washing done and on the line for the last good drying day for a while.
- Also, took down, unpinned and washed the two black out curtains that we put up on the front door c. 5 years when we moved in …. Chloe has developed a little game of dropping live mice into the pocket that the unstitched, pinned up ‘hem’ makes …. We then have to retrieve and release said mouse … Usually just before hooman bedtime …. 🙄🤷♀️😂 Mr KK specifically requested that I sew this up. If I am breaking out the sewing machine, I will also use it to sew up the side seam on one of his warm, padded, work shirts too.

A mouse pocket! Yikes!
Yes to sorting out cv before you go, much easier to relax when it’s not at the back of your mind.
My washing machine often gave me a tip as DS would just put everything in with a cursory check, I wonder if it’s all building up now he’s not living here😂Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

🤣love the idea of a mouse pocket. Wonder what she will do with the next mouse 🐭 when said pocket isn’t available.

What a little tyke she is! A perfect evening game putting mouse in a pocket.
Sounds like a lovely productive day.4 -
I'm more concerned about the concept of spare halloumi than the mouse 🤣! I love it so much I have to stop myself eating it all before it's even cooked!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I’m glad that the mouse pocket amused - it amuses us too … but not for much longer …. 😉😊
@South_coast I thought I was being a piglet eating it straight from the pan! 😂😂😂😂😊

Love the mouse pocket. We used to have a regular game of catch the mouse before bedtime - running around the house at midnight is not conducive to a relaxing sleep

ps don't forget AI to help with LI. I've got copilot, not sure if that's because I've got a MS subscription. It doesn't produce the finished article but ask it to produce a draft for you and then you can refine it (I'm so much better at changing something than starting from scratch) - might be worth a try"Think of many things, do one"
