The blind sounds lovely
glad you managing to work and move forward well - just keep tracking everything (also useful if you plan to write a new CV in the future)
pizza dough yeah! You must feel v grown up !I have a Panasonic bread maker for GF bread - it’s the best and also does pizza dough’s - so nice to not have preservatives in your foodDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

The blind sounds lovely.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -

Thanks @LadyWithAPlan, @Watty1 and @savingholmes
It looks very much like my time at my current employer is coming to an end. My boss wants me out and has offered me a ‘clean exit’ (for which read a pay off) or a performance management process. I’m gutted and weary (been working extra hours for the last 2 months) and pee’d off. My imposter syndrome is LOUD atm … 😢
When I got home and told Mr KK he was actually relieved as he said when he got home from France he could see how tired and stressed I’m getting. We were booked to go out last night and he asked if we should still go. I said yes as I had paid, it meant I didn’t have to cook and the event was at the chapel so just down the lane from us. The food was fab, Mr KK won a really pretty and practical 0sprey purse in the raffle, the band was …. well, let’s just say, we now have a strong appreciation of how difficult it is to play in time, at the same time and sing in tune … 😉 The ‘disco’ after was a good laugh and I got up and boogied. We went to bed late and I didn’t really sleep, so I’m feeling pretty burnt out today …

So sorry to hear that. Me, I would go with a quick clean exit rather than the death of a thousand cuts. Generally once they put a formal offer into place and you provisionally agree then I would expect a very swift exit - perhaps garden leave while it is signed etc.
I am sure your union would help with any negotiations about the amount and timings, plus they can usually provide the legal bit that has to be completed. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Big hugs, that sounds like a difficult thing to deal with, even if you don't trust the judgement of the people giving it. I too would take the money and run, leaving rotten fish behind all the radiators 😠 What utter fiends. You are NOT an imposter - I imagine you're standing in the way of whatever outrageous nonsense they want to peddle next 😠 Leave them to stew in their own mess, hold your head up, and move on to brighter and better things.
I'm relieved with Mr KK though - you've been tired and fed up for too long, working inside out to please people who were clearly never going to be pleased whatever you did. F*ck 'em. You are better than they are!
Have a cry, tart up your CV, Marshall all the good MSE resources you've gathered over the years to get you through leaner times for a while, and find yourself something more cheerful.
Lots of love xxx8 -
