Best cat moment was when there was a bird in the house flapping about and our cat was throwing itself about trying to catch it. OH opened a window wide and was trying to shew the bird out when it decided it was better to sit on a low table. Cat pounced and the bird disappeared. OH picked up the cat and saw there was a pair of feet sticking out of its mouth. A violent shake of the cat caused it to open it's mouth and the bird flew out unharmed and exited through the window.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I look forward to this stage … maybe … some time! 😂skint_spice said:My cat seems to have stopped killing things, either she’s getting slower or not so fussed. She does rush up trees from time to time but the birds and squirrels must see her coming - thankfully!
Actually done a couple of MSE things today:
Cancelled a wash sheets subscription. I am drowning in them and they are actually very expensive. I will use them up but I won’t bother again. Also harvested some lettuce from the greenhouse - just enough for my lunch salad tomorrow. I did the same yesterday 😊 Go me - eating my own produce! 🤩👏❤️Mr KK is a touch brighter today but very fed up, especially with not being to taste anything still. We’ve been discussing tactics for Thursday if he’s still positive by then …. I actually don’t think he will be 🤞

Long day followed by very dry evening (annual parish meeting, AGM for PC and general PC meeting … 🙄) at the parish council where the soon to be ex chair and the longest serving councillor tried very hard to make me take on the chair role …. I was resolute in my No!Very proud that in spite of not getting home I have STILL managed to prep all my lunch etc for tomorrow! Proper tired though …KKAs at 15.12.25:

Well done on standing firm about not taking on more, and getting all the things especially lunch done. Great news Mr KK's positive line is looking fainter *wafts not-having-covid air towards the general direction of you both*1
