    @PennysIntoPounds, fortunately we already have separate bedrooms and always have had 😊
    I have dosed us both again with vitamin C, echinacea etc. I think the snooze this afternoon will have done him good. He’s pretty fed up though, getting bunged up now as well as the cough … We’ve checked his O2 levels and they are okay at least.

    Yes @beanielou. We haven’t had a lot of luck this year ….

    @Brewerspride it’s fascinating isn’t it 😊

    That's great you're able to have separate bedrooms, hopefully the lurgy won't be able to get a hold on you. Nothing quite like having to lay there while an ill person sleep-breathes their germs into the immediate environment!
    It was so horrible not being able to see Mr PIP for nearly a month when I had that ridiculous virus earlier in the year, but as much as I wanted cuddles and comfort, I couldn't justify it as even one night was still eight hours being centimetres away from something really, really manky (both the virus and me 😁)

    That reminds me of the first lockdown, before they allowed single-person households to mix. 10 weeks without physical contact with another human being, when you're 7 years into a relationship, was a very strange experience!

    Hope Mr KK improves rapidly 🤞

    Hmmm, that's a good question 🤔 No, I don't think it did. I remember him being surprisingly supportive when I was made redundant, and I think it made us appreciate the little things more afterwards (like being able to actually see each other!) Though absence usually does make his heart grow fonder - when he goes away on his lads' holidays, there's normally a point after about a week when I suddenly start hearing from him more frequently and I think he must be missing me 🥰 Not sure what that says about our usual interactions though 🤣!

    I find I start missing Mr KK after about a week when he goes away … The first few days though are utter bliss ….! 😉😂😂

    At first it's the "I don't have to listen to him do xyz and I can do abc" but then it becomes "why can't he be here doing xyz because abc by myself is so dull".
