Well done on all the gardening - and for sorting the first draft of the eulogy.
Glad the kittens are settling in and bringing some comfort. My cat doesn't seem to approve of me working. He's being very clingy when I'm not in my WFH space but seems to be avoiding that room - not sure why as in the past he's sat in the chair near me.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Woke up with a bad dream about work. It’s getting on top of me again … sigh. I’m going to have to avoid meetings today, where I can, and just get some work done to ease the pressure on me.KKAs at 15.08.25:

My sympathies on the work front. It never ceases to amaze me how sometimes (often!) I can be at work for the whole day, with my bum in a seat, but not actually get any work done....Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

The week is done! Phew …. Today was usefully productive and I actually managed to update my todo list for the first time in a month! 😂
Popped to the chemist on my way home and picked up my meds - good thing really as I finished the last one this morning! Need to drop and email to the GP surgery to check when my blood tests are next due as they sometimes block the prescription if I haven’t had one (bit don’t actually tell me it is coming up! 🙄).
Mr KK has come down with a genuinely heavy dose of ManFlu so is pretty mis and frustrated. I’m not even allowed to hug him atm … 😳
LCs are meandering about 😊

Poor Mr KK, there seems to be something going around at the moment. Hopefully lots of fluids and rest will shift it quicker. A shame to not be able to hug him but keep yourself well!
Well done on the productive day and the triumphant updating of the to-do list3 -
Mr KK has probably succumbed to something after the stress of the situation with his dad. I prescribe him having a (self administered?) kitten massage. It cures most things. Might want to ensure their little needle claws are trimmed a bit first.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I have just a lovely half hour in the garden (no more than that, it was getting a bit midgey!) finishing a book (almost back on reading track again) and listening to the birds 😊
The book was the Fr@nces T0phill one - I wouldn’t w at her style of garden as I like some clarity of structure and formality (reading he took makes me realise! 😉) but I love how un-rule-bound she is in how she approaches her garden. That in itself is inspiring. 😊
I also downloaded the M3rlin bird app and in 5 minutes it identified:
- blackbird
- common chiff chaff
- robin
- wood pigeon
- house sparrow
- chaffinch
and c. 6 others I can’t remember. Really fun 😊
