Mr KK was saying over dinner that he feels skint with all the time off he’s had to take off recently to help his mum. I told him he had provisional orders all over the country with MSE cat owners wanting catios - I ‘drew some pen portraits’ of you all for him and it made him laugh - so thank you for cheering him up 😊❤️

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
Lay on the floor of the catio and let the kits treat you like a trampoline. Took a long call from the bathroom providers about some final details, got a revised quote and paid it off tonight. Should be a 10 to 14 day delivery window. Also, chased down the mortgage advisor and started discussing dates for him to come over and start reviewing our remortgage options.Mr KK has dragged the Jeep out ready for him to take to work tomorrow and I have pulled a bit more bindweed 😊

I've found a slug trap - the kind you put beer in. There is a major debate as to what should be put in. We have Trappist ale, a bottle of old Peculiar, lost lager and some small cans of moretti for picnics. Apparently they all have equal value and I should buy some cheap bitter.
the broad beans are doing well, the munched ones are French. I have mining bees in the greenhouse which may make tomatoes planting slightly nerve wracking. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

Nooooo!!!! Put down a yoga mat or something. If you lay there they will come!!! They're kittens. They're naturally curious. They're thinking "who is this marvelous hoomin who seems to have food for us coming out of her finger tips?!?!?!?" They'll sniff, they'll run away, they'll ignore and then they'll come back to check just in case there's some of that food available. (which you will magically pull out of your pocket (treats, not the wet goods))KajiKita said:Brie said:

Clingweed here. But that's just me - need to mow down some ornamental grass that has take over the front garden too. Once that's done the clingweed can be untangled from the lovely little rose bush.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Work is being ridiculous but I think I am keeping up …. just … (today’s idiocy was having to draft a script for a video I and my team are supposed to be making … 🙄).However, in Real Life.
The road over the beautiful hill, which is my nice commute home, is open again ❤️
Mr KK and I had a cuppa by the pond, sat in the sunshine and set the world to rights 😊
Whilst Mr KK tinkered in the garage, I chopped back a huge native and fairly ugly grass that blocks our view of the pond from where we sit. Mr KK pleased 😁 I also weeded the bed below the Amalanchier, cut back the grass edging to that little bed and pulled a handful of bind weed in the veggie patch again.I have now done 6 rows of my freshly cast on blanket and I HAVE THE PATTERN AND STITCH COUNT CORRECT!!! 🎉🥳🤩😊
Mr KK contacted me this morning to say that he wanted to start the bathroom in W/C 27th May. I looked at the time line for what he says needs to be done before we get other trades in, the fact that we have the funeral before then, he’s away one weekend before the 27th and what the lead time on the actual bathroom bits are … and suggested that we move it on a week. Fortunately he agreed. Felt quite proud of myself 😊
Chloe Cat let me stroke her head tonight and purred ❤️🤩
