Feralkitten has catio envy. Her only comment is that it could be improved by the addition of a few flying feathered things. She longs to get her claws into those from the windowsill.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -

Work was bonkers today too… I literally woke up dreaming about one of the product types this morning …! 🙄😂😂😂 Thank goodness we have a long weekend and my boss is out of the country next week! 🎉😉
MSE achievement: Got Mr KK signed up as my 100% beneficiary on my latest work pension, finally! Only taken 6 months … Had to actually call them in the end as the website recognises me but won’t display my policy … sigh …. 🙄
Mr KK was saying over dinner that he feels skint with all the time off he’s had to take off recently to help his mum. I told him he had provisional orders all over the country with MSE cat owners wanting catios - I ‘drew some pen portraits’ of you all for him and it made him laugh - so thank you for cheering him up 😊❤️

Up bright and early today to get out and finalise what we are buying for our bathroom - need to:
- shrink the heated LED mirrror a bit as we think we one have quoted for is a bit big
- confirm that we can return the riser kit for the shower tray if we don’t use it
- confirm the details of the handness and the location of waste in the shower tray
- choose a better spec of wall covers to fit behind the shower. Then we will head onto the nearest big town / city to get new jeans for Mr KK. I think he bought his current pair pre Covid and they are literally dropping to bits. I will be using my MnS CC cash back vouchers to help with this as I don’t have much other use for them. Then home to garden, garden, garden, before the weather breaks (again! 😭).

Successful mission out!Bathroom details all now defined - just waiting on getting the final quote, with all appropriate discounts, then I will place the order 😊
Came away today with a ceiling extractor fan kit, so Mr KK has it as a reference / can install it as he is changing the window. 👍😊
Poottled up to the local city. Wrestled for c. 20 minutes with the app / cc payment thing for the car park 😢🙄 I am still old fashioned enough to carry change in the car for parking, but not an option today unfortunately.Had a quick breakfast and a brew as Mr KK was starved … 😉Jeans found and purchased along with two new face flannels for Mr KK. Used up all my MnS vouchers and only had to pay £12 - result! 👏 Mr KK very pleased 😁
Then wandered on down through various market stalls to the big bookshop that is like millstones but preceded by water. Bought 4 lovely gardening books with my £50 Christmas voucher from work that I hadn’t been able to find anything I could do with, including one by Fr@nces T0phill about the first year in her garden. I like her and he garden is quite shady, which mine is too, so I am hoping to pick up ideas from it 😊
Safely home - no further destruction by LCs - when we got home last night, the coat stand had been tipped over and everything had gone everywhere! 😂😉 Next load of washing in the machine (first load went out on the line before we went out) and I am having five minutes with a brew 😊
We were both chuckling on the way home about what quiet souls we are these days. Even the cafe this morning and the town centre itself was getting too much for us and we left before it got busy! 😉

Catio needs a chair so you can share. Just saying. Spent the whole afternoon in the garden. Mr KK has been spraying his bike frame with undercoat and top coat. Meanwhile, I weeded the spud bed and planted my main crop spuds, weeks after my earlies went in, but stuff happened you know 🤷♀️ Also, weeded the strawberries / peas bed and got my home sown onions out into the ground. The latter look a bit weedy and feeble, not sure my compost was any good, but am hoping now they are in the ground they will get going.4th load of washing on the line is my dressing gown, as it needs a refresh 😊

MiL was meant to be coming round for tea tomorrow evening, but apparently we have got the day wrong somewhere and it’s today! 😳 Cue frantic, cleaning, tidying and general running round on my own as Mr KK is at MiL’s … in the midst of which I tripped on the conservatory steps with a (fortunately clean!) cat litter tray. The litter went EVERYWHERE and I have bashed both knees and my dignity 🙄
At least I have a tray of potted up plants and seedlings ready for her. 🤷♀️😉 The table is laid and we have an on the hoof, quick dinner planned 😊
