Glad you and Mr KK had a good time.
I also always picture you as svelte!
Could be helpful to try getting up from the desk every hour and doing five minutes of carpet marching or stretches. That's over 30 minutes of exercise a day without having to go outside or 'set time aside' for a session2 -

I think it all comes down to self image. I don't like how I look once I go over a 12/14, which is absolutely by no means whatsoever 'fat'. Mr Redo took a photo of me today (with some baby goats!), I'm smiling for once but I can't see past a size and posture I'm not happy with.Driving a desk makes things challenging I know. Can you do factory circuits or anything? My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

However, some days are better than others so I should look to move around more in those gaps. 🤔😊
Done reasonably well today food wise - less snacks and avoided most butter. 9K steps - that’s good for a Sunday 😊
Had a good day today. Got out in the garden to trim the edges of the grass on my ‘formal’ borders and then run over the first 10 inches or so of grass with my little battery powered mower. That led to lots of weeding and really looking at the beds 😊 There is loads of grass and buttercups - methinks my garden still thinks it’s a field! 😉 I’d finished by the time Mr KK got back from his ride out in all his new kit (he likes them all 😊) so whilst he did the rest of the mowing on the ride on, I brought in some washing that was almost dry from the line and then cleaned the bathroom and loo.I then helped Mr KK by finishing off his beef / making the gravy (the one bit he can’t do). Still have all my food prep to do for tomorrow, towels to chuck in the tumble (couldn’t earlier as the slow cooker was out there and they would have come out reeking of beef! 😂), a shower and then I can relax 😊KKAs at 15.08.25:

I did also manage a financial update and flowed that through to my signature. Nothing of any great significance but at least I am up to date.KKAs at 15.08.25:

Decent motorcycling equipment is a must. Glad that's sorted.
Glad you enjoyed the barn dance. Well done too on the gardening.

Thanks @PennysIntoPounds and @savingholmes 😊
Been a busy day today in work and defended myself against what I genuinely think are unrealistic expectations from my boss …. Senior colleague has suggested a way I could ‘get ahead’ and look better / get recognised for what we are actually doing and has offered to help me prep - that cheered me up 😊
Since getting home I have:
- Watered my houseplants and put water aside for my seedlings to water them in the morning before I go to work tomorrow
- emptied both kitchen bins and put the black bin out ready for bin day tomorrow
- teased Mr KK about the TLC handwashing he was giving his motorbike 😂 - apparently this will help it pass its imminent MOT 😉
- found matching takeaway lids and bases for Mr KK to portion up his beef and gravy from the freezer
- folded and put away two loads of washing for both of us
- Mr KK has finished the mowing - the garden is looking good now and less like a field! 😉😊
- packed up the slow cooker and wedged it back into the cupboard
- made a brew and toasted a hot crust bun for both of us - this will be offset by me not having chocolate after dinner tonight. I did manage to get out for a brisk walk at lunchtime and resisted chocolate in my vulnerable time in the afternoon today 💪

It's a well known fact that a shiny clean motorcycle looks like it has been cared for its MOT and has a better chance of passing. Would he like to come and clean either of ours? I think one is due in a few weeks actually, and could do with new tyres. Less places than you think do motorcycle tyres!
(When my car went in for its MOT in the village they did giggle and ask if it was the same green moss as the year before. Yes, probably.)My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
