Veg bed almost cleared but it was so muddy and so cold I have admitted defeat and come in.

Woken to a couple of inches of snow and more coming down. All plans for the day cancelled. Hoping we might get out to dinner later? Mr KK digging out his modelling kits …..

He is DEEP in guide books and the t’internet, planning a detailed itinerary for him and his mate, ready for their trip to the north east France, German border in June this year …. A scooter and moped along with shoe museums have been rejected - a huuuuge museum with planes, vehicles, wepaonary etc etc. has been listed 😉

I will be making lunch shortly and we have the fire lit 😊🤷‍♀️🥳

Sorry the snow scuppered plans but hope you manage a lovely day anyway x
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

All Mr KK’s planning for his ‘boy-trip’ has left me feeling … not resentful, but kind of, ‘what’s for me ….’?🤔
I asked him roughly how much he thought he’d spend on the trip - apparently c. £500, all in, accommodation, ferry, fuel whilst out there, food, museum fees etc. and I asked him if he’d mind if I did something for myself with the equivalent amount of money. He was glad I asked as he was thinking that our staycation that we will aim for in June, whilst nice, isn’t the change of scene and stimulation (my words for what he was flapping his hands around at) that he’s going to have.

So … I shall quietly start looking for something ‘nice’ to do. Nothing too worthy, something a bit creative or totally relaxing … Either with accommodation included for the price or something more significant but local so I can sleep at home and still do. It will be offset fates to his break so I can leave him with all watering and we don’t have the cat to Cattery stress-juggle.

No idea what yet, but it’s nice to feel that there is a possibility of something to look forward to … 😉
