I have eaten a Frog!Cancelled the policies for the oven insurance and the boiler insurance. I have no faith they would ever pay out and that will save us £16 pcm - that’s a lot of surveys ….! Mr KK pleased 😊
Whilst hanging on the BG phone line I tidied the office and cleared quite a lot of guff! Mr BG not sure if he has a managed to avoid an admin fee for me (they wanted to charge me £30, after paying in for 4 years with no claims - seems a bit steep to me!) - at one point he said his system was trying to give me a refund!! 😂😂 I said that would be lovely, but not to get into trouble with his bosses over it. He went away to cogitate on the machinations of their system …. Cross your fingers for me on this one! 😉
Rang V1rgin CC as they sent me a statement and I thought I had cancelled the card this time last year! Don’t want unused credit on my credit report before remortgaging. Nice man confirmed that it is closed and apologised for the confusion the statement had caused. Phew …
Updated my signature for the first time in a while. Nothing major to report - steady progress …
Updated my YNAB spreadsheet - added a category for a new mattress as mine is just starting to sag in the middle somewhat - aiming for £500 for this.Gave up on trying to dry my bedding on the line and have stuffed it back into the washing machine to spin again … 🙄😂😂😂Time for a cuppa 😊

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -

All Mr KK’s planning for his ‘boy-trip’ has left me feeling … not resentful, but kind of, ‘what’s for me ….’?🤔
I asked him roughly how much he thought he’d spend on the trip - apparently c. £500, all in, accommodation, ferry, fuel whilst out there, food, museum fees etc. and I asked him if he’d mind if I did something for myself with the equivalent amount of money. He was glad I asked as he was thinking that our staycation that we will aim for in June, whilst nice, isn’t the change of scene and stimulation (my words for what he was flapping his hands around at) that he’s going to have.So … I shall quietly start looking for something ‘nice’ to do. Nothing too worthy, something a bit creative or totally relaxing … Either with accommodation included for the price or something more significant but local so I can sleep at home and still do. It will be offset fates to his break so I can leave him with all watering and we don’t have the cat to Cattery stress-juggle.No idea what yet, but it’s nice to feel that there is a possibility of something to look forward to … 😉
