Just catching up. The horses are "only" £48 to vaccinate and the vet comes to them on a "free" visit if it is one of the days vet is in the area.
Love the garden btw and the chores thing really resonated with me. I feel i am doing a lot of chores and not so much funMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
Thanks for all the thoughts. We don’t have much choice of vets round here I think. The good but cheap vet retired a few years ago. Will have a further rummage ….
Chore pulled into week from weekend: run around house and empty all internal bins into one bag and then out into the black bin.My Amalanchier tree Christmas present arrived today! 🤩😊❤️

Embroidery, tapestry, art, pleasure reading, some gardening though all of it is good for me 😊, playing with colour, seeing friends. Did a bit of tapestry and embroidery at the weekend and am taking a friend out for a lunch for her birthday next week on Saturday.Turns out PBs pay directly into one of my savings accounts! 😊

Proper tired …. Been an intense week and with a 7am start this morning for training that was cancelled at 6.30am 🙄 and grim commutes this week, I am defeated by doing any chores this evening. After feeding the cat, splitting kindling, emptying the grate, bringing in firewood and getting the fire going (all usually Mr KK’s jobs but he does over to see his mum and dad on Thursdays now) all I was fit for was flopping on the sofa. After cooking I was only fit for more flopping! I have changed my bed linen which is a job I have been doing in the week for a while, nothing extra. I will make a start on my student’s latest book.La Belle Floof loves me again! 😂😊
