You listed quite a few chores there. Be kinder to yourself. You got a lot done after a heavy work day/week and are carrying the load related to FIL's illness and the pull that's having on your DH and you.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

That sounds extremely productive- remember you're meant to be making your weekends nicer, not making your weekdays horribler! If you need a nothing but sofa evening or two to rest and recoup that's healthy and wise as well1

Awwww …. Thanks all. ❤️
Tbh I don’t mind changing bed linen as it is sooooo luxurious afterwards and I always sleep well in a clean bed 😊
I was wondering about the ‘making weekdays horribler’ - so wish I could afford a a cleaner! Ah well. Not feeling too bad this morning. Going to be a strange one today as we are all moving desks - that’s after moving offices less than a year ago! 🙄🤷♀️😂
Finally clocked one of the reasons why I might be feeling a bit mentally sluggish - I ran out of omega3 supplements a while back - now ordered along with more D3. It’s probably why my forehead is like sandpaper too …. 🙄😉

Love la belle floof total disregard for your needs. What a great cat.
To be honest I thought your evening sounding exhausting. Before I could afford a cleaner (and to be honest the only reason I make myself afford her now is that it is so much better for my mental health) I narrowed jobs down a lot. For example, WattyDog makes a huge mess. No point in hoovering but I could make it look better with a quick sweep of the rubber broom. I would clean the sink and wipe the worksurfaces but rarely, if ever washed the floor other than a quick swish. Dusting was only done when I could write my name in it. My mum always said I was a trollop around the house but to be honest narrowing jobs to essential really helped me cope when I had a lot on.
You and Mr KK have a lot on. Mental space gets taken up a lot at times like this.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
