That's a stunning view and garden.
I mostly try to prioritise art after work and at weekends although I've not done any yet this week. I found it improves my MH. It sounds like you enjoy gardening so while it may be work you seem to get a lot out of it.

I also had a F it moment and brought up a list of Amalanchier options and asked Mr KK how much he wanted to spend - £75 was agreed on and said, single stemmed, 1.5 to 2m tree was ordered. My Christmas present is finally on its way and Mr KK transferred the £75 to my account immediately 😊❤️

How lovely on the tree. I'm planning to buy a dwarf apple tree - just need to find the right one. I also want some clematis and honeysuckle.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

My student has resurfaced. Sounds like he has a kidney infection and is struggling with the homework and was too ashamed to ask for help. Poor thing.Found my keys!! Phew …

In the spirit of doing one chore in the week so it doesn’t have to be done at the weekend, I have just done the online digital signature for cheque signing for the PC.KKAs at 15.07.25:

Another weekend job done:
Cat to the V E T for MOT and service. £94.94 for two boosters, worming tablet and sticky neck. She is in excellent health and has huge whiskers, apparently! 😉😂❤️
I will have to check how much it was last year - that seems like quite a jump to me.Spent my first half hour this morning with a temp from another department who had tried to come into work but been sick on arrival and was staggering wobbily down the corridor when I came across her. Sat with her listening to her share all her health complaints (she has several chronic conditions - to be fair I’m impressed that she is working at all) and then diverted her to start talking a bit about what in her life she enjoys, whilst she drank a glass of water I found for her and ‘came to’ a bit. I then sent her home with strict instructions to take her migraine meds that mean she can’t drive (which is why she was in so much pain today - she was so determined to work) and go to bed! Then told her manager all of this.Pretty tired now, so just food prep for tomorrow, shower and bed! 😊

That made me check back on the fluffy trousered idiots bi annual abscess visits, and in 8 months the identical visit and AB injection has gone up £13. I clearly need to adjust his 'I'm rubbish at fighting but let's try anyway' budget. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

My cat hates me right now - every time I go near her she flinches and runs off behind furniture or a curtain …. 🙄😢 This will last c. 48 hours and once I have fed her enough times she will have forgotten 😉 Fortunately she still has one ‘nice hooman’ as I do all the vetty things so Mr KK stays as the ‘safe hooman’ …. 😉

I think I may need to rethink the pet club I pay for our cat. Its gone up to £18.99 a month - so a total of £227. If one set of vaccs and wormer/flea is £95 for the year then that means its around £44 per set for the other three quarters wormer/flea. It is supposed to include a couple of healthchecks each year but our cat is so scared of the vets that we can only take him the once. I did notice they are offering access to an online consultation service at the moment."Think of many things, do one"
