I really struggle with these, tried many times but they either seem to be expired or have loads of conditions I don’t meet … 🤷♀️CCW007 said:I first heard about discount codes about 15 years ago on the radio - something like Heart or a local radio station as well, not even Money Box or something related! The host was talking about whenever he buys something he does a search for a discount code for the merchant and I was amazed! I wonder how much that tip has saved me over the years...KKAs at 15.12.25:

We were sat in my bed this morning, reading with a cuppa, and in comes Cat with a mouthful of wriggling mouse and a garnish of grass …. Cue Mr KK hurtling around the room trying to rescue it, but mouse was foolish, didn’t cooperate and unfortunately Cat caught it again …. 😢🤷♀️savingholmes said:Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
I'm still getting over reading about the dead rat and the mouse in the bed...
Well done on sharing your learning with a colleague. I find it interesting at work as all the senior managers bring in home made food to eat most days while the lower paid buy from a van or a shop. It always blows my mind. That habit right there is costing some of those people £3-5 a day easily and that can make a huge difference over time.
I’m having a lovely weekend. Had a good time in the sun in the garden yesterday and got my Kale, sprouting broccoli and parsley plants in the ground, finally! 😊
Today, got out again and after some general tidying of sad pots, started clearing the veggie patch - shame bindweed doesn’t count as a foodstuff or a crop! 😳😂 However, I did find these ….
😊

Meanwhile, Mr KK has been busy for the last three days (he took Friday off) and we finally have a fireplace ….

So pleased 🤩 Still some pointing, painting and dressing to do, but the oak has come out brilliantly. ❤️

PS - since taking this photo he has lifted the back right corner a touch so it looks more balanced - it does have a natural twist in it. He thins it is well over 100 years old as the nails in it were softer ones, made by a black smith rather than the modern type.As at 15.12.25:
