The pork was aparently best for pulled pork, so done a slow cooker pulled pork that did not require tomato/ bbq sauce. Amazing!
In: Strong white bread flour, instant yeast.

In: LO mashed potatoes - open frozen then put into a takeaway box as duchess potatoes
Out: chicken thighs, corn on the cob
Dinner tonight will be takeaway KFC using the above, half tin of baked beans from fridge and a couple of sprouting baked potatoes for the chips

In: cooked gammon, portioned. Cottage pie, chicken and bacon pasta, chicken pie, all from a magic bag. Portioned hm pulled pork. Wholemeal fussili, spaghetti, cartons of juice and long life milk. Tins of chickpeas, jar of olives.

In: 2 packs of frozen prawns, 1 loaf bread. Going to be portioning up and freezing the breaded fish, turkey steaks and goats cheese log later today
Out: Blueberries, chicken thighs for tonight

Just remembered have also put sausages into the freezer bagged up into 4s ready to pick out as and when needed either for fry ups or meals.

Adding to the what freezes well discussion from earlier this week: took out some creme fraiche had leftover last month, completely split upon defrosting. A very brave taste test later and added it to veg mash instead of milk. Glad i had a try at freezing it, not binning it.It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.4 -
Back to using up whats in the freezers and reducing waste here too.;
out of freezer today is a leg of lamb - half of this will be refrozen once cooked,
going in will be scooped portions of mashed turnip and mashed potatoes on a tray then popped into a bag when frozen fully. have been doing this for a wee while now, cooking extra then freezing some which will hopefully reduce the electricity - just as easy to boil a big pan of veg once rather than 2 lots.Every days a School day!5
