    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Ok as they've dropped out that leaves just your counterclaim.

This means YOU are responsible for paying the hearing fee and must read all the Directions as relating to what you must do (but you are still 'the defendant' but also counterclaimant).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Sorry missed this. Noted thanks

    28th March 2022 update

Still no cheque/ letter from UKPC! Their legal team had the cheek to chase me to withdraw my CC today too.

Replied back saying "your client has not satisfied all of my conditions". Hopefully it's just incompetence rather than purposefully not sending the cheque / letter

You may have to remind the court that your counterclaim is still 'live' as I've seen courts think a discontinuance ends it all.

Letter received 31/3/22. It's not from the head of litigation as I asked for, but otherwise ticks all the boxes. I'll pay the money in today and withdraw the CC when the cheque clears. Thanks for everyone's help here, appreciated

    Dear Mr X

Please take this letter as confirmation for the following:

    1) There are no outstanding charges for Vehicle registration numbers: X, Y and Z as these have all been cancelled

    2) We have closed the claim ABC

    3) There will be not future claims for the vehicle registration numbers provided in point 1 from any historical charges and you have no liability for our costs with regards to these charges

Please find enclosed a cheque for £50 for your refund

    Kind Regards

    Case Manager UKPC

Great stuff!   That's a win then!  You are happy to withdraw the counterclaim as they paid the filing fee and you've agreed to 'drop hands' and walk away.

And you have a promise there of no future claims for historical PCNs. Keep that letter in case UKPC forget!
