In light of DCB's response above (I can't figure out if their response to me is to my ultimatum or not...), do you think I should send another WPSATC mail to DCB with a copy of the lease, telling them I will proceed with the CC and ask for their client's offer of settlement?Coupon-mad said:I'd send them a copy of the lease and tell them you intend to proceed with the CC and ask for their client's offer of settlement.
But I know you've just responded so maybe wait and see what they say first. Then do the above.1 -
You were expecting that weren't you?
Item 7 on that list your were following when you filed a Defence reads...

That's a template letter, not a response but I would not hang about. Sharing info to narrow the issues is expected of you and them. Respond with the lease and ask them for their clients' proposals to settle your counterclaim.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yep I wasn't surprised to get the DQ. Just suprised that the letter would mention an intention to proceed and then in the same breath talk about resolving itKeithP said:You were expecting that weren't you?

You are not dealing with the brain of Britain here , probably a paralegal or similar who could be starting out on a training contract , never mind that maybe not all the details end up in the same folder , or in the hands of a single point of contact who knows what they are doing , more likely that multiple people do a bit each , no joined up thinking , all doing multiple case juggling daily , perhaps not even editing templates correctly 😁😁Jams91 said:
