I don't know if I hope it goes through I think they are just going to be massive trouble and try everything they can not to pay or stick to what they have agreed. It could cost you a lot in legal fees and hassle really sorry to say this.

I know what you mean Tallgirl, I’ve had this conversation with my Dad a lot lately, he says its very common when letting commercial property and par for the course 😒 well the guy is now abroad until sunday and will sign the papers monday (dated monday so two days less rent of course) the money should go to his solicitors on hold ready prior to that but i bet it doesnt!
He agreed to sign the contract as it was worded so we can get him out if we dont want to renew at the end (as well as a halfway break clause) He’s paying a lot less than we wanted so im looking at it as breathing space for the moment. Its weigh in day and I’ve lost a hairs breadth over half a pound, I’ve eaten less and gone for a walk every day, doing at least an hour, one day walking six and a half miles just on the walk, it was so much eaiser to put this weigh on compared to losing it! Im more doing the walking to feel better and not fester at home fed up and I know its food that impacts more than exercise with weight loss, but i dont eat masses anyway and its just not coming off like it used to - old age 😂
Right, off now to hospital for a blood check and to attempt to get a parking space!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5 -
I feel your pain on the weight loss, I've been gaining and losing the same 2lbs since the start of the year 😥
Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!3 -
I have (as at 8am today) lost 4stone 7lb in 363 days, but it is so, so hard!!! I also have meds that cause weight gain, so am fighting that and the oestrogen blocker I'm on also doesn't help (everyone my age is on HRT and there's me trying to block all oestrogen in my body - and feeling very old as a result - and they are all delighting in the benefits of HRT. Sigh)
Last Jan I joined RH f1tness - and managed to put on 7lb in a month, rather than lose anything!! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Something 'clicked' in Feb (being told that they wouldn't do an operation I need because my bmi was too high may well have had something to do with it!! 😁😁) and it seems to be working, although any progress is now very slow. I still have maybe 2 stone to lose? (I'd like another stone at minimum, as that should get me definitely in a clothes size I'd be happy with - which is more my goal that an arbitrary weight figure (and I'm ignoring BMI!)
IIt's definitely much harder now than when I was in my 20s!

Wow well done Greent thats amazing! You must feel so much better for it 😊 Any tips? 😬 Im walking daily and eating less than usual and nothings happening 😩
Yesterday finally the factory completed, if thats what you call it when its a rental? So at least some certainty now for a bit unless they stop paying - but i shan’t be dwelling on that 😆 Time to make some decisions about money and the future i guess.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁7 -
That’s good news, fingers crossed anyway!

Glad the factory is sorted - that gives you a level of certainty 😊
Mine is definitely down to high volume, high protein, lower calorie foods - and a lot less cake and snacks. Very little exercise done - I cant do weights or rowing, due to a frozen shoulder and zumba is annoying if you cant throw your arma around. My meds also make my ankle joints and feet hurt most of the time so when they have a flare I dont even walk that much. I am, however, still indulging in afternoon teas🍰🧁 every 6 weeks or so😋 I just hope i can keep it off - last time I lost weight (2.5 stone during Covid) i put it all back on and more when my MH took a dive

You have got to have some treats still greent, afternoon tea as a regular thing sounds great 😁 well done its such a lot to lose, sounds like you are in a good routine now.
Well im still walking everyday, more for health than weight loss as exercise can make me more hungry 😆 i don’t ever really have treats in the house, so its been frustrating that not much is happening still 😩 i cant go to the extremes i may have in the past calorie wise as it just mucks up my warfarin levels and last time i did WW for one week i lost nothing and ended up with daily injections until levels stabilised. I the old days I’d just chug down some diet shakes and be half a stone lighter in a month 🤣
Not much to report but lots of ends and ends to sort out, parcels to go out, paperwork for the factory to look at, letter to cun@rd to write - I still cant book anything online for my trip and its been months now and thirteen phone calls and emails which they rarely reply to 😡 so I’m going down the signed for letter route this time….MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5
