Hi SC, yes maybe, but its going to be pretty generic stuff still i think 🤔 I was given lots of info when i had pre diabetes. Too much bread and not enough protein i know 😏 but I’m a fussy veggie who has to be quite careful with green veg (have to have small amounts regularly or not at all) and some fruit 😂

Just bought a couple of lower cal m@rks’ meals today for myself , I cook from scratch usually for dh and eat salad or toast or omlette etc. myself usually as I’m a bit lazy! Perhaps a change is needed…

Haha, its funny when they spend all day sleeping why is it so important to get up so early for breakfast i wonder 😆. Well we havent managed to get it set up yet, three people had half heartedly tried so far 🤣 dh said he will have a go tonight.

Been out walking again this week, sometimes into town where im often popping in m@rks for any yellow stickered bits. I don’t usually do ready meals but have had a few lately and they have been fine really, helpful when im lacking motivation and better than toast and ceral probably. Dh had some reduced fish cakes yesterday and some creamy mushroom side dish that looked fairly unhealthy but he enjoyed.

The food budget is at its limit already- whoops! Its kind of the everything other than personal spending budget really and this month i did get more lazy bits of food as well as a cat feeder and a pre pay prescription certificate for ds2 (he complained and tried to get me to cancel it and then send me the money 🙄) only got three months though as i wanted to help out and see if it was worthwhile for him. But having a slightly higher budget has been good, i have still found that i tend to buy lots of miscellaneous bits from my personal spending still - like pillows the other day. So im considering upping it a little more as we can afford it more now really and its the one place in the budget that you really feel the benefit of having the extra room and having to juggle less.
