That’s very kind try harder thanks 😊
I’ve ordered a top and skirt for dds hen do and the ABBA voyage gig we are going to 😁 in the sale of course with tcb, a pale gold sequin top and pleated skirt, very subtle 😂 it will come from the wedding clothes budget unless I can make up the difference from my personal spends pot. Looking for wedding outfits is so stressful at least one thing is now ticked off the list.Just about to write the birthday list and budget for the year, this year I’m going to cut down what we spend on the kids as two will be married so I think we will reduce and give them and partners the same from now on, probably £100 I think? Trying to think what else I can do to plan ahead at the moment so there are less nasty shocks.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3 -
When is the hen? Actually, when is the wedding?
Loving that you're using the sales to your advantage!4 -

Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days

Hi Ramouth and thanks!KP wedding one is the start of april (ds2) with probably a duel hen do situation where the young un’s will go out and we will have an old girls version for the nans and myself (boo!) which will probably be an afternoon tea here or similar, no dates yet though.Wedding 2 is end of june (dd’s) and her hen is not booked yet as tickets for the mamma Mia thing are not on sale far enough in advance. Stag do for ds2 is booked and half the world is going 😂 Covid willing it’s abroad for three days, and his friends are insisting on paying the lucky whatsit!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4 -
Today has been a good day, first I’ve watched the Harry Potter reunion with dd, fiancée and step GD to be 🙂 and also I’ve ordered a mother of the bride dress- hooray! I’ve probably wasted days looking now, but I’ve taken the plunge and ordered one I had seen months ago. Original price was about £550 I think, but I’ve found one for £349, fingers crossed it’s ok.Grocery top up spend £14.09 on vegan bits and treats for the visitors and also £5 on a gift card through to cashback as they are doing £2 on a £5 spend today.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3
