Have a fantastic cruise NG - definitely deserved after the year you've had. I, too, love the peace and quiet of the early morning - usually sadly lacking with two cats, as I'm sure you'll appreciate!

Well we are on the ship, nightmare journey stuck in traffic then almost in an accident as a car raced round the corner at the lights and was going to drive into us but hit the traffic light and then the car behind us 😳 everyone was ok, although the driver didn’t speak or check on anyone 😡 we gave our details to one of the cars he hit and it was right by a police station, luckily we got it from many angles on the cameras (it’s a tesl@) Weird though as it came for us and missed by inches as it caught the traffic light and I could see it coming 😟

Other than that I’m glad to be on here, although it’s a different cruise line we have not been on before, not sure it’s my preference to be honest but it’s early days and was cheap 😆

I think they are Daisy! Thanks everyone, it wasn’t a great start. 

Well I’m not allowed to make judgement yet on the cruise dh says as it might be better today 😆 but I can’t help it. I think when people say they wouldn’t like cruising that this is what they imagine and I don’t blame them 😳 it’s not the usual quiet friendly place, there’s a lot of drunk people and no quiet corners at all, bounced around everywhere trying to find a bar to sit in and get coffee after dinner (not offered in dining room 😟) last night, everywhere full and the rest of the ship is packed and noisy with flashing lights. No film screenings at all which we normal love and to watch any film in your cabin is £8 a time 😱 we have  brought tablets with downloads on but still! 

On reflection I think I enjoyed my hospital stay more 😆 today’s plans are to get through today without high blood pressure and enjoy tomorrow when we go to cork! 

On the upside the buffet is good 😆

Oh newgirly, I'm really sorry to hear the cruise isn't what you were hoping for! Here's hoping that people are just getting off to a drunken start and that things settle down a bit next couple of days x

I hope you’re managing to make the most of the cruise and enjoy yourselves. I think I figured out which ship you’re on…. My best friend and I did the same cruise last year in the spring time, we had a nice time but were very disappointed. It was exactly as you describe… a bit like Butlins at sea? (M8C Virtuo8@)
