My sister used to get really high heart beats (is this the same thing?), she would be sitting at her desk and her watch would be telling her to cool it on the exercise. Took a few tries to get the right meds but she's much better now. The episodes are less severe and less frequent.
Is it £300 each or £300 total? I think if you have space in the budget then go for it as your room is important to a holiday. You want to be comfortable.2 -
Hi TallGirl, I’m finding it so much easier than eBay too 🙂 we won’t be child free for a while yet but when ds1 goes it will be just our youngest twin ds2 and his wife who are 23/24 so will be here for quite a while yet I think as they are both working but not well paid enough to afford a mortgage here.Hi lady with a plan, no need to weigh on vinted, just photo and list and at the end it suggests what size parcel (small, med, large) and it is usually fine. You have various options for shipping your customers can choose but I’ve removed all except evri as it’s round the corner for me so much easer, when they have paid you can access the postage QR code which you scan yourself on a machine, it’s really easy. I use the grey self seal bags on Poundland.Hi Ramouth that’s sounds really scary! I’m not sure it’s iron related but am now taking the stronger ones prescribed anyway, have to wait so long for a gp appointment it might rule that out by then 😆
Hi KP, no it’s not, everything shows as normal when doing the ecg on my watch, it would alert to that I think. Glad your sister is ok now that must be have been very worrying. I’m sure mines worse when stressed out though.Looks like the total when it’s clear of I think £231 now on vinted 😬 I don’t want to spend it! I guess I could use it for the cruise upgrade, but it’s taken south a lot of effort, I’m not sure I want to part with it now 😆MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4 -
Amazing vinted progress! I can definitely understand why you would want to ringfence the money to use for something that really brings you joy.1

I’ve renamed one of the empty savings account so I can see it easily Ramouth 😆 Another two items sold while I was in cinema, kerching! £5 clutch bag, £7 m & s long sleeve cotton top.Just watched the Iron claw with dh, thought it would be a lighthearted romp but no it was a rather sad true story. Afterwards we went and got mil’s birthday presents, some clothes from the next outlet, she’s so tiny and they had a lot of petite there, plus dh paid , we do have a birthday pot and I tried to pay but he said no, so now there’s £35 extra for food, which is good as there’s only £10 until 1st now. I was about to raid another pot, plus he also paid for some nice bits for dinner 😬MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2

I really enjoyed Iron Claw, it wasn’t what I expected at all.
i am marginally closer to putting some items on Vinted! Well done on your sales. I am thinking about getting more space too as a bonus.Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Hi skint spice, I’ve persuaded ds2 to go and see it tomorrow now 😬
You must get on vinted, the selling but also buying has been fantastic! I have got some great new bits and now don’t want to buy things in the shops as even the cheap shops are way too dear, I think I’m cured 😂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2 -
I have mastered the buying part NG😂Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

😆 oh dear skint spice!Well today I managed to get dh for a walk in the local forest park (where dd had her wedding ❤️) then a snack and tea afterwards, very nice. Dinner for me if leftover frozen lentil dhal and nan which I will make again this week as it’s so nice, healthy and cheap.I’ve made a decision to spent rather a lot of money, well dh has offered to draw it from the business account. I’ve been getting quite stressed about the palpitations and have managed to bring forward my gp appointment to March 11th online, but if I do need any tests this will probably mean I can’t get insured for the cruise in mid April as
its too soon, so I’m going to just get a private gp appointment asap and see about getting whatever they recommend privately too, probably in region of about £270 I think, depending what they say when I ring. At least this way if it’s all clear I can see my usual gp and hopefully not be referred, or maybe even cancel until after the trip.It doesn’t sit that well, but I’m worried about the trip as dad would still want to go but mum wouldn’t (won’t really travel alone with him incase he’s ill!) and its
too late to move if we needed to, plus I think the stress of palpitations is making them worse 😩 dh is very much do whatever you want don’t worry about the holiday, but dad seemed a bit more try get it sorted. I think it’s worth it to save poor dh the stress of me at the moment poor thing 😬
On a brighter note more vinted things sold today, an old purse and another bag 😊MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁1 -
Hope all gets sorted with the gp visit xMortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Thanks jessy, it was a help as I’ve booked a monitor to wear for a week that will be couriered, and she also suggested a thyroid blood test which I got done yesterday privately, I could probably get a test in time for holiday but definitely not a GP follow up appointment if needed before the holiday. So the monitor cost was £325 😱 the blood test £44 and the GP appointment £50 if anyone’s interested, I would have had no idea of costs prior to this. It’s a lot of money, dh is paying and to top it all after weeks of having issues I’ve not have it for the last couple of days 😆 so no idea if there’s even any point, although I think it will help my stress levels. My best friends parents have just moved their imminent holiday, also a cruise as he was waiting for a heart monitor to wear for a week and the wait was a few months, they also were unable to get insurance and have lost far more paying more to move the trip that the tests done.Had a trip to Bluewater yesterday (blood tests in John Lewis!) so a bit spent on coffee, then our family trip to the theatre to see The Enfield haunting, we bought all the kids and co. tickets for xmas so there were nine of us, we were in the very back row so the view was a bit dodgy due the the high set, the acting was great but the script was I’m sorry but terrible! I know this story well and it was very disappointing. I’d budgeted some money for a drink first, £12.90 for a small Prosecco 😱 so only four alcoholic drinks bought, the rest soft and a bar bill of £80odd for one drink each, that was the scariest bit of the night 😂
The bill for the plumber came in and it’s only £150, he’s done us a favour there I’m sure. I’ve had to take the money from the trip to York pot for June which had £100 in it and my personal spending money. When overpaying this much we don’t really have an emergency fund as it’s a fairly short time frame to get through and we have an offset if we really need it. More money needs spending today and tomorrow as best friends taking me for a birthday lunch today and my aunt is coming down to do the same tomorrow and ds2, dd and dil are coming too so I will pay towards that as I asked them along. I’m not really bothered about going out for meals but seem like a bit of a misery if I don’t 🙄
Saturday is my actual birthday and dh has offered to book a nice evening meal out but I fell a bit mean as I don’t really want to, I’d like to go to the cinema to see Duen and have a Nando’s next door as I’ve never been 😬
Monthly update coming later but I’m still on track it’s about 🙂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4
