Afternoon NewGirly I have just caught up with your diary a lot going on and a busy household for sure. Sounds really dreadful with your DHs job and complex with the commercial premises I do hope it get sorted. Would it be so bad for you to go back to work there? Seems like you know the job well and it would give you social interaction etc. You do have a busy life with family and friends (and shopping sorry) but maybe a change would also be beneficial.

I am envious of the cruises I have only done 1 to the Baltics my mum paid for us all. It was amazing but then Covid hit and we did not do another one. I do like the sound of the Norwegian Fjords ones I have been to Oslo three times (sailed from Copenhagen) and holidayed many times in Sweden expensive countries though.

Hope the cats are both settled now I love cats they are so much fun and make you laugh every day. I would not be without mine.

Also massive well done on the mortgage clearance you have done so well with just one income in effect. I cleared mine 9 years early and I so wish I have upped my pensions payments straight away instead of just enjoying the extra money. I have never been able to be disciplined since. I do feel a bit lost without that big target.

I am jealous of your Vinted sales that is an amazing total. I have done a few and also bought some stuff from there. It is good for replacing things when you change since (aka in my case put on weight). Look forward to following the rest of your journey.

Hi TallGirl, long time no see, I hope you are well 😊

I would defiantly go back to work if they want me, I would moan about it though 😆

The fjords are a wonderful cruise but I’m sure soon there’s going to be lots of areas that are no longer taking in cruise ships, so I would do it sooner rather than later, Amsterdam is already closed in the main city port. I see in your signature you are planning in moving to Denmark in the future, how exciting! I’d love to go back and Sweden is also high up on the list of places I’d like to visit, so expensive as you say though.

Well done clearing your mortgage nine years early that’s amazing, I don’t blame you for spending the extra money afterwards, I’m sure that’s what we will do 😆

Not much to report today, a couple of parcels posted and top up food shop done so I could make a Thai green curry for everyone tonight. Plus a couple of freebies on the lidl app, sweets and a maple pecan plait. Tomorrow I’m taking Aunt to have laser eye surgery and then taking her round mums after.

Time to check the accounts and see how little is left 😱 also got the mortgage statement though so will look at that.

They are orientals which are basically different coloured Siamese. Our last old girl was all white but one of a mixed litter of Siamese and white orientals. The left hand one is the one the kids bought as a surprise and the one on the right is her relative we got when she was 18 months old, she still not a “people”cat but is getting better. The younger one is bonkers though and destroys everything in her path.

Oh and if you think the ears look big now you should see them as kittens, they grow in to them 😂

Gorgeous cats nice to see they are happy together mine do not like each other and they are brothers. Hope the non people cat continues to warm up our big panda boy is still learning that cuddles are nice and that he can stay in the same room as his humans. He was never ill treated or neglected but his brother stole the limelight so we do not think he had much fuss. If you keep going they do get there.

Thanks for the tip re the Norwegian Cruise sounds like it needs to be done soon. We are hoping to move to Denmark it is my country of birth so travels in Scandinavia is on our doorstep really.
