Hi all,
Been a couple of days - nothing to report really, plodding on as usual. Sold a blanket box, extra £10 in the pot. Feeling the pressure of moving a bit at the moment. I'm trying to sort stuff and pack boxes, and decorate and get things up to scratch ready to let my house. I thought I had ages but its looming! I need more time! I feel like I am going to scream!Debt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)- DFD: September 1st 2023[/b]

Well done on clearing the CC1

Not sure if you have already done this but I found that when we moved it helped when I made a list of everything I needed to do. It was daunting at first and I had some days where I didn't want to do anything but it spurred me on to get it done. Plus I felt a sense of achievement seeing things ticked off or crossed out.bigbeff said:I'm trying to sort stuff and pack boxes, and decorate and get things up to scratch ready to let my house. Good luck with everything, it's a really stressful time

I made a list, it is long! But I can instantly start ticking things off. There are just not enough hours in the day! I will get it done. Aim to list some more unwanted items on facebook tomorrow - its a good excuse to sort through stuff and put money towards debt at the same timeLittleMissDetermined said:

Hi @bigbeff
I've just started following your diary and it sounds like you've been making brilliant progress in the short time since you started, and being super proactive with the FB selling. I need to follow your example and do that too!
Equally impressive is being able to skip chocolate for a whole month! I felt chuffed at completing Dry January, but think I'd struggle on the chocolate and crisps front
Moving house is so stressful, especially when you're doing it alongside your other goals, so well done for keeping managing to juggle it all.
Hope everything goes nice and smoothly with the move, and I'll look forward to keeping updated with your debt-free journey.
Have a great weekend

I know that feeling! I've had a crazy work week and feel like I can't catch a break to get up to date. Other than that, I am OK thanks and I hope you manage to sell some more items!bigbeff said:There are just not enough hours in the day! I will get it done. Thanks
I am making great progress. I just needed to focus some of my attention on my debts - and the facebook selling is only really because of the house move to a much smaller place! I'm trying to lose weight... it's not working, but at least I am not having the sugar highs so much. Off to sit down with a glass of wine now and a bit of crochet!
Hope you have a lovely weekend too

Morning all.
Today is going to be a good day I hope. Off out with my parents dogs shortly, that'll get my steps in! Then back to my house where I'll make a list of things to accomplish today - I've got to look at my mortgage and see what I can do there as fixed rate due to run out in June.
I think today will involve lots more sorting hopefully 🙂
I hope you all have a lovely day!
