Happy Saturday. it's cold, windy and rainy, a day for hibernation Washing has been put on airer to dry near woodburner and i've put bath towels in the tumble dryer not great but needs must.
Moneywise things are ticking along, had energy payment so £67 sent to mortgage, sold a couple of bits on ebay £12.50 sent to CC and survey payment of £15 hit bank account and has gone to CC.
Busy week at work and a couple of late nights has resulted in some easy teas of eggs or pasta, nipped to a local farmshop for fruit/veg, steak and milk on the way home from work spent £30 but shouldn't need any shopping for the rest of the week and know if i had gone to MrT instead i would have spent more. Taken out some stewed apple from the freezer to make Eve's pudding for tomorrow and have brought home some past it bananas from work to make banana bread.
Frugal wins
ebay sale/energy payment
microsoft rewards and surveys
late night/easy teas
free fruit

Good morning.
It is finally the school holidays woo hoo, last week was hard, lots of behavioral issues, staff shortages and a lot of i'm not paid enough for this going around in my head, but i now have 2 weeks off to recharge and get some house jobs done.
Lots of little things ticking along, made some decent sales on ebay and money in from surveys and Nationwide rewards for supermarket shops, extra points on nectar, Mr T and Boots card.
Spends this week have been plenty, spent £22 on Easter eggs, £54 at MrS on a food shop, went out Friday night spent £45, food was average and service rubbish but it wasn't my choice of restaurant and I just sucked it up as it was friends birthday and didn't comment as she was happy, company was fantastic and great to catch up, so taking the positive.
Spent £25 in Boots mainly on s0ltan suncream as they had some good offers and this brand doesn't give DH a rash.
Payday was Friday and shuffled some money, also made a £100 OP to mortgage.

Morning all.
Not much happening just spent the last few days catching up on chores and catching up on TV that i've missed as i usually fall asleep on the sofa by 9pm, have to say i have binged watched the new series of The Bay and loved it, best one yet.
Decided to do a shop for the weekend yesterday, didn't fancy doing it over the bank holiday weekend. £66 spent in MrT and £15 in b00ths.
Found some filo pastry in the bottom of the freezer that i can't even remember buying, so i chucked some lamb in the slow cooker yesterday added spices, diced potato, chickpeas and green peas and i'm going to attempt making samosas later.
Couple of small sales on ebay and 1 on v1nted, all to chuck at the CC.
umming and arring about having a night away with DH next week, would be a nice birthday treat and we could do with some time together.
Frugal wins-
gifted 4 small boxes for packaging (my friend knows how to spoil me).
90 Mr T points
£11 made £bay/£12 v1nted
Take care xx3 -
Just a quick update as it is far too nice outside to be sat in front of a laptop.Washed and pegged out the blankets from the sofas, think its to soon to pack them away over summer though as it is still feeling chilly in the evening and we had frost overnight.
Mortgage has gone out and £100 OP.
Had an email from BPrewards and checked my account to find i had enough points to redeem a £5 M&S voucher.
Still not decided what to do about night away, need to talk to DH properly about where he fancies going, although pinning him down at the moment isn't easy as he is flat out with work but you gotta make hay whilst the sun shines (also means he isn't under my feet).
Managed to make 12 samosas yesterday and they were large ones, we only needed 1 each with some salad ans roasted veg cous cous, DH has taken 1 to work for his lunch and the rest has been frozen for another day, also had enough mix left to make at least another 6 so ave frozen that and will look out for some more filo pastry next time i am shopping.
Frugal wins -
£5 reward voucher
£100 OP saving £18 interest
Glorious sunshine and washing pegged out
Yummy samosas from everything in stores.3 -
Would you consider making shortcrust pastry and using to make a pie with remaining filling?2

Happy Easter and what a glorious day, already been out for a lovely long walk with the dogs and have hit 10,000 steps.
First load of washing is blowing on the line and second load is in the machine.
Vinted payment of £12 has cleared and withdrawn to account, I will send to CC once in ank account.
Plans for today are housework and then family coming over later for a roast dinner, so need to get on with prepping that and also need to make a fruit crumble for pud.
Have a great day xx2 -
