When I first started SW, my group often used to go to the Harvester for meals @FrankieM. I didn't go myself but the plain chicken breast with a jacket potato and salad bar seemed to be the best SW option. I looked up their menu and I'd say go for that or a steak or gammon. As the salad bar is unlimited (I think) then you definitely won't go hungry. Any syns are likely to be in a bit of oil and any salad dressing that you choose.

Orange Smarties are @beanielou's favourite. How can such a tiny sweet be half a syn🤔! I'm more of a savoury person myself so would rather use it on some mayo.

Plenty of chicken left so we'll have that for dinner instead of the chilli I was planning. It's good to have plain meals sometimes. I've gone a bit mad on eggs today but I just fancied one with my lunch.

    Today's EE plan-
B- fried eggs (P), tomatoes, mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- vegetable hash (P,S), pickles (S), fried egg (P)
D- cold chicken (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, mushrooms, salad bowl (S)
    Syns- LTL mayo 0.5

@maman A plain chicken breast just sounds so bland and boring! :(

But I'll see where I'm at and how I'm feeling Thursday. I'm happy to go low syn but not so low it's unenjoyable...if this is how I'm eating for life then it needs to work with that.....but as I say, I'll see on Thursday - I may feel more hard core by then ;)

I'm also more savoury than sweet...but orange flavoured stuff is the bomb!

That looks delicious @bubbs. I've got liver on the menu later in the week. I think it was about 50p YS! 😋

I agree with you about enjoying your meals out @FrankieM. I think I'd choose steak and a jacket potato. You could have a pepper sauce for 4 syns and then perhaps green beans and peas. 🤔

Blimey I’ve only been away a few days and there’s like 100 new posts!

It’s fab that it’s such a happy supportive thread though.

No WI for me this week. I usually weigh Wednesday mornings but OH has an appointment on Wednesday morning and as his carer I need to be with him. I don’t think my consultant was very pleased (the one and only time she’s ever been understanding of why I didn’t weigh in was when I had Norovirus over Christmas) but OH is more important.

I’ve been spot on plan for the last couple of days as my weight losses have stalled a little bit. Trying to kick start them again.

I cooked an SW chilli for tea- I put a bit too much chilli powder in again though 😂OH loved it- he ate it without even a drink but I used half a tub of FF natural Greek yoghurt and even then my eyes and nose were still streaming 😂and I drank an entire bottle of water (litre bottle)

    Today’s menu:
B: Cheese on toast (HEXA and B +4) Skinny Bar (3)
L: SW lunch pot and veg, coffee with milk and skinny syrup (3)
D- SW chilli con carne, salad, jacket sweet potato. Grenade Carb Killa White Chocolate cookie ice cream bar (these are amazing! There’s no way you would know they’re low cal/sugar) (6)
    S: Popchips (3.5)
    Syns: 19.5

Night all. Lots of love xx

  • Gahhhh. Was just looking for something and accidentally found 4 boxes of sweets that were Xmas gifts to me. I'd hidden them from myself and forgotten all about them.  I feel ambushed.
Looks like there'll be sone happy people in the staff room at work tomorrow.
