  • Well done CazzieLT.

I'm very pleased to report that the I'm finally saving.  First one from bingo was a lovely First World War coin, the second was from my local corner shop when I went to get milk - a plain one but still very welcome.  So currently up to £4!

Off to the office this afternoon to do a petty cash reimbursement - hopefully there will be one or two in the tin that I can swap with the lovely £1 coins I'm taking over with me - better to be prepared than not  :D

  • Well done everyone on collecting those lovely £2 coins.  It seems there are more about this year already but I guess if people have banked last year's treasure trove, then they are back in circulation.

I didn't get any whilst shopping on Saturday, despite me asking if I could have one in my change, but bingo last night was very fruitful, resulting in 5 lovely gold coins coming into my possession (1 from my friend who knows I collect).  All plain but still welcome in my pot!

No shopping plans today, but bingo again on Tuesday so, who knows?  :p.

  • I know, I was very suprised but it came in my winnings so no control over how that happens.

I also love cash - I feel more in control of my spending if I see the cash disappear from my hand.  So easy to overspend when using a debit card.
