Good luck with finding the £2 coins. I'm also aiming to go back to cash purchases where I can this year to keep on top of the food budget. Evening all! #4 checking in to report my first two happily rehomed coins! Yes, I'm still going to be that annoying person that pays 99p with a £10 note and the world is just going to have to deal with it! I was a winner today with two twos in my change and they are now safely in my pot getting to know each other better and making it nice for all the others that will shortly be joining them! £4 and counting!

Welcome Veebree to the £2 saving challenge. You are number 7. Good luck with finding the £2 coins - I haven't secured any yet either but have bingo tonight so I may get one, only time will tell.
Nor have I been shopping yet but with so much food still in the house, I'm going to concentrate on eating that first. Only the usual bread, milk and eggs required for at least another week to ten days. Freezer will need to be emptied at some point so that it can be defrosted so it's a good excuse for clearing out what is in there. Then it will be off to the shops, cash in hand, to see if I can get my hands on some lovely gold bullion

I went to bingo last night but no £2 coins to be had, not even from the bar when I purchased my usual diet drink with a £10 note and my friend who usually saves a couple for me wasn't there.
