£2 savers club for 2022

November's total was 8 £2 coins, all plain.
I had a £100 win on Premium Bonds at beg nov
We have a video call with our mortgage provider at 9am in the morn (sat) to sort the fix for the final 2 years of our mortgage, the new interest rate won't kick in until April tho. With N/wide you can lock your new fix in 6 months in advance.
I've just logged in to our BG account, we are £511 in credit for electric & £321 in credit for gas...no doubt that will dwindle away over the coming months. Not bad considering I am retired & home most days. We pay our water bill when we get it, every 6 months.
Well done everyone on finding the £2 coins & savvy budgeting, think we all have a very tough 2 years coming up.

Thank you, claremylove - I'll keep chipping away! And well done, Grumpyoldmoo, what a fabulous win - I forgot to report my epic win for November, £275! Never have I had such luck! Maybe the tide is starting to turn for all of us savvy savers!
I also had another little win yesterday - bought a charity raffle ticket and got two £2 coins in my change! Everyone's a winner! £172 and counting!
Happy Sundayxxx

Hi everyone, wow I've had a busy few weeks.
Another £32 potted today - all plain but that's ok. The lady at bingo on Sunday had £20 saved up for me as I couldn't go the previous week as I had family arrive for 10 days (with 2 day's notice). Shame the weather wasn't better as it was difficult to take them out and about. But it was so good to catch up with them as they live so far away. Did the pressie swap with them whilst they were down so another job sorted out.
Nearly ready for Christmas and I'm really starting to feel chrismassy now. My two older sisters were down the week before my other guests arrived so we did pressie swap at the same time, meaning I had to be mega organised! All done now. Just my sister who lives local to sort out something for and, of course, my lovely hubby who has absolutely no idea what he would like so no hints are forthcoming. Hope he likes his surprise when I think of what to get him - I'm sure inspiration will arrive at some point. We have a top limit of £20 to spend on each other so that does limit some ideas, but it also makes us look for bargains and most importantly, the gift must be useful.
My expected pay rise is now going to be in my December pay packet. Was hoping for November but never mind. At least it's on the way. November was tough as I paid my loan off early. Certainly didn't miss that payment going out of my account last week! Now just need to adjust my monthly payments to my 'pots' accordingly.
Happy potting everyone - it's now the final month of the 2022 challenge to fill those pots with as many £2 coins as you can find. Good luck and keep us all posted on your finds

Well done Grumpyoldmoo on the PB win. That's amazing! I will be checking my phone tomorrow to see if I've got lucky in the December draw.
Also well done on potting 8 more coins. They are slowly adding up!
As you say, we are all in for a tough couple of years. Thank you, claremylove
Any luck for you in December? I only had £1 in the draw this month as I FINALLY got to the max so I took it all out (bar the £1 to keep my account open) and put it back in in one big chunk which was always my plan once I hit the maximum because I'm convinced that's how I will finally get my big win! Bring on January 2023!
Five plain but perfect £2 coins added to my pot today to make £182 and I reckon with one final push I could hit my target of £200 for the year! Christmas pressies left to buy so I'll use cash where I can (although I'm finding less and less places are taking it!?) and hopefully find the nine remaining beauties I need!
Keep up the good work, peeps! Alas, no PB win again in December. Maybe 2023 will start with a better return on my investment
. Now my loan has gone, I may raise my monthly deposit into PB to £50 per month (currently £25) for a couple of months, then review and maybe increase again. No idea until January exactly what my monthly take home pay will be as the December pay packet will include back pay to April.
Well done on getting to the maximum. Must be so satisfying!

Oh and I'm now up to £440 in £2 coins but for some reason, I can't update my signature. Will contact MSE to get that resolved.

My November pot had £68 worth of £2 coins. This included 1 Shakespeare jester and 3 jgsaw coins. These will help to finish off the final bits of Christmas shopping I have to do.
Well done everyone on the wins with Premium Bonds and raffles. I only have a small amount in Premium Bonds so I am unlikely to win but the small chance is still there! I hope for the postode lottery to come my way! We can but hope!
