@CMD79 Can be as big or as small as you want it to be really. Smaller is more sustainable so whatever you can afford to lose really. A lot of people round a debt down if say for example it was 384.29 they may round down the 29p. It’s an amazing principle, for me I just need something to automate it as my bank doesn’t roundup automatically and third party services seem to take it in a chunk rather than manageable bits.
You seem to be doing amazing by the way paying off your debt, well done to you. Do you have a debt free diary?
Thank you! Yes, I'm really missing Lloyds today. First Direct doesn't do it.  :'(

I slowed down quite a bit in the middle as I was preoccupied when our Ukrainian house guests were on their way/arriving, but yes, I'm feeling very positive about it now, thank you. @CMD79 Welcome aboard this thread. Love the Lloyds account name  :D
Don't forget to take advantage of the very good interest rate you can get with your FD account too. (3%) The Tillying bits add up through the month especially if you have a flurry of logging on to see - when you, do move a bit. Well done on your first Tilly.
Any OP to any debt is good, I used to smile when I would send maybe just 40P to round it down. Never once did they not accept anything.

@Makingabobor2 - Welcome too,  My Nationwide ones I have now added the percentage rate to each of them in the title i.e 1.35pc Xmas. Have you signed up for interest change notifications? There is a lot happening re interest rates. I use the app mostly as it is very easy to see and more convenient at times Good luck with Tillying away too.

@scrimpandsave - Have you checked if your bank offers this (rounding up/ saving the change) as you would have to apply - if not maybe consider a bank that works for you  No point in being loyal

Yes, I'll take a look at the 3% account. I do need to set up something for my emergency fund, so that might be good, thank you :)

Actually rounded it up to £5 and actually sent the extra payment to them, so even better.

    Hi Peeps,
my total for August is £45.54 I was surprised at that amount as it surely didn't feel like that. I am not saving for anything in particular its just about moving the money over to stop from spending.

It adds up so quickly!! At the beginning of the month, I'm round to £5 so it makes huge leaps!! The other end of the month, it'll be the nearest £1, but that's working out okay for me so far, particularly because I am also doing the £10 extra a day.

£4.40 for me this morning! In about a week, once my new statements have been issued, I'm going to go back through my debts again to round them down. That gave me a real mental lift last week.

    Total for September: £15.64

Good morning! Another £4.71 tidied up this morning!

    Total now: £20.35

I'm still trying to round to the nearest £5 but as the month goes on, will reduce to the nearest £1 because it's getting a little tight in the old 1st Account!  :D
