Added £5.79 to my total yesterday ... my OCD was killing me that I had such a weird MTD total.
I might need to round up my round ups to keep me sane!!

Hi all, I'm currently manually transferring the amount from my everyday spending account to my saving account (I use Starling).
Has anyone got a better way of doing this? I know I'll end up forgetting or getting confused at some point!
Thanks!

Some banks automatically round up spends I think @naomim uses one that does so.
I use a separate account when I'm tidying better. Not doing much at the min but we been paid so may start again. I have a spreadsheet to log what I'm tidying so I know what's been done.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I manually tidy, but I like it that way…it feels more solid! I do have a save the change thing, but as I use my debit card quite rarely it doesn’t add up to much. I tend to use a credit card for on line protection and then pay it straight off the minute I’ve used it. So, as my overpayments go straight to my mortgage I just manually send a payment every now and again when I can spare it.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Payday today. We had £78.86 left in the account so paid it on a credit card. Doesn't feel like tidying as it's just what was left but I'm assuming it counts?Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

@moving_forward any amount tillied is good. Bold move, that's how to tackle it when you can
.
@xanderaw tidy away in a method that works for you.
Today I had a look at the one with TTT app I didn't like it. Also another one someone had suggested again not for me, that doesn't mean one method may not turn up that suits my style. I am open for suggestions at anytime its all about learning. I currently have a facility on my Nationwide account that does the save the change ready for you to move manually which is good as the month end can arrive too early if things are not kept an eye on. With that, is getting the satisfaction of actually doing self training, by doing it yourself
I have made a dynamic decision to move money that would have been spent and save the savings too. The barber shop I go to gave me a discount of £4 so tilly away it will go. I purchased a dress in the sale today and was prepared to pay the price on the label with 20% off, turns out it was cheaper than the label and then still got 20% off, will do the sums on that I know it will be over £10.Anything is better than nothing-check back and see
