I have also added to Christmas. The Tillies will be slow again until April now.

@GingerWarrior are you saving towards Christmas? Otherwise using it for Devon sounds like a great idea.
Hadn’t thought about Christmas (and yes it’s a mild panic come November, ok I lie December ).

I think I’ll use Jan to March for Devon, then the rest of the year towards Christmas

Thats a big chunk off the mortgage WW well done 😁
I do like Devon Ginger, north Devon in particular Ilfracombe and surrounds.  Its nice to have a day on the train from barnstaple to torquay.

£6.15 today. I forgot to do it last week. Constantly want to tidy accounts, clean one, makes another look untidy, repeat the process... Sometimes I think I just move it around 😂

Have been to Devon about 30 times. Love it. Started off going as a kid on my Dad’s cricket club tour based around Honiton and then with my family we’ve visited various places. This time we’ve managed to get a Caravan at a holiday park in Woolacombe for under £270 for the week. Bit of a shock as it’s school holidays and the same holiday a few days later is £580! For once my wife’s school holidays have been beneficial!!

Woolacombe bay I would say. We haven't been there but know people who have. We used to stay at Hidden Valley caravan park. They are mainly tourers and a campsite but have three lodges.
If you don't know woolacombe head to Fuggies bakehouse. Best pasties ever. Also the Williams Arms at Braunton used to be a favourite stop. Dogs were allowed in the bar. Haven't been for a few years so best to check.

  • We are staying at Twitchen House this time. 3 years ago we stayed at the main Woolacombe Bay park.
