@ladyholly OH no  :| NO saving is pathetic. It is there doing its job and is not lost. There is comfort also in the fact you own your own home. As the loan is your focus AND some savings going on then all is good.
Thank you. It just seemed rather a pathetic amount considering I had a spendy week buying stuff in town. I am hoping that some of my spending hadnt tillied yet as sometimes the bank takes a few days to transfer it from my current account. I rarely shop other than for food especially over the last year - no not because of covid but because the council decided to dig up the town centreand it just made it too far for me to walk from the bus stop to the shops. It is now finished so I am able to go into town once more albeit with a longer walk than it used to be. I must make sure that temptation doesnt take over though although I can get get to one or two charity shops.

  • My total so far for this month is £46.67. I've decided to switch from tillying to CC1 to EF for now as feeling very vulnerable in that department. Feeling quite terrified of the cost of living crisis like most people even though I appreciate that I am in a better position than others in the grand scheme of things.

Nothing for me since last week but had a look at my online banking and the sudden realisation occurred I’d not budgeted for something so didn’t dare tidy any more pennies away as was already short.

Turns out a refund I’d beeb waiting for, I’d factored in to using to pay a few things hadn’t been processed so once I know that’s in I’ll carry on.

We could transfer back out of the baby savings fund if we’re in a crisis and don’t get the refund in time but I’d rather not as else it’ll just allow me to take my foot off the gas with the company who owe us!

£17.84 rounded to make CC a round amount and then £7.71 to savings to tidy up current account. I won't look at savings otherwise I'll have to tidy more 😂

    Morning,
Tillied 3.99 yesterday. Not much being moved at the moment as I have not been out shopping or anywhere at all. So hanging onto what I have for a little longer.  ;)
