Well done Ginger. Spend that £8.00 on a veggie pasty for me and a chocolate ice cream at Woolacombe 😋

I did £2.04 to round up the mortgage, then something odd happened when the payments hit and it unevened it again! Maybe a drop in interest from the extra payments or something? Anyway it resulted in another £8 something to round it back down to end in a zero! I will update my signature when I’ve added it all up 😬

@WinterWarrior well done on the little extra down on the mortgage, it changed again for you as February is a shorter month so the interest is lower  ;) I'm looking at helping son who does pay extra each month by adding the savings on the interest back to the account too. He is reducing his mortgage a month a year - it all helps.

The interest had already been added, then when the payment went out it reduced more than the balance minus the payment…so strange. However it forced me to pay more, so that’s good! I’m also aiming for one extra month a year. When my renewal is due in 4 and a half years, it will be for the final 5years and I’m hoping to condense it to 4 yrs..if I can have paid some off now that will stop the payments rising too horribly I hope 😁
