Wow @GingerWarrior I think you maybe our super tidier if we have such 😁🌟
    Welcome @MissRikkiC
@scrimpandsave at least by joining in virtually it keeps it in mind what you are aspiring to. Gives you something to work towards and let's face it debt decreasing even by a penny is better than going the over way 😊
I have tidied  78p this morning -payday at last 💰🤓

  • Yeah this is it, can’t justify robbing peter to pay paul atm, mainly robbing change from my overdraft to give to a credit card. I know no one on here would say anything about that being me living outside my means, that goes without saying by now for me.
It’s the reason a lot of people end up on mse isn’t it and why we want to save small change to chip at our debts. Just had a bit of an awkward start to the year. Seeing everyone else succeed gives me hope and inspiration for definite and I feel really pleased seeing how possible it can be, feel like more of a spectator but happy to be along for the ride to be honest 😀
Small changes really do make a difference don’t they. I would definitely concentrate on getting out of the overdraft as that is the one that will cost you a lot. There  are no rules as to what you Tilly tidy to, so even if you reduced the od by £5 month on month, that would actually be a Tilly in my book as it’s £5 you didn’t spend/effectively saved for that purpose. We will all cheer you on ⭐️

    Morning all,

Not really had a chance to do any tidying. Hopefully hear from Sainsburys today and then I can continue from there!

    Morning Peeps,
£9.04 TT for month to date, its pay day tomorrow so has been a short month.
Yet I'm under my preferred bank balance.
I'll blame the dogs for needing their boosters  I have realised I don't factor any funds for them except for food, I will make that change.
The HMRC have advised they owe me so that small extra pence will be tillied when it hits my account. I have enough left to top up fuel a day earlier and collect some extra nectar points in the process and a small amount of grocery money left so will pick my time to travel and look for some YS goods at the same time.
    2Scratters xx

Mine also feels a bit odd to do prior to this weekend @scrimpandsave as every last penny needs to be accounted for in prep for more house renovations but from tomorrow when we get paid, the usual budgets will be set and we will go from there. I’d have done it sooner but have had to take from pots to fund things in advance of the funds being available for renovations as they actually started last September!! So now need to replace all of those tomorrow and start with 2 clean slates. House and day to day! Then I can tidy :)

Thank you. Not sure I could do this every month, especially given the £500 a year increase in energy prices that we’ve just been notified about for April.

Same here, my supplier went bust in October and only just been billed for October to January 😬 luckily bust supplier still took direct debits so the credit helped with that but not totally.
