I’d be keen to join in here on account of knowing that these type of habits really do stick with me when I see other people doing the same; so have set up both my Monzo’s to tidy change away to a pot and will start the habit on the main bills account from Friday once we’ve been paid.

Hope you’ll gladly accept me ✋☺️

  • Managed £7.26 over last few days for total £13.11. It is payday on Friday so feeling more confident paying off slightly bigger chunks as I know the end of the month is in sight  :D

  • Everyone, what is a save the change account? My bank are considering rounding but not doing it. Considering moneybox app? Any one used it? Sill overdrawn at the end of every month, but still looking for a way to do this

My bank Ll**** does it automatically when I use my debit card and it goes into different savings account. That way I can track how much I have saved in it.

    Welcome @MissRikkiC we're a friendly bunch.

@scrimpandsave I use Natwest & Monzo who both offer rounding. I'm usually overdrawn at the end of the month too sadly. Still not got the budget tied down so my rounding is haphazard (see non existent this month)

Yeah this is it, can’t justify robbing peter to pay paul atm, mainly robbing change from my overdraft to give to a credit card. I know no one on here would say anything about that being me living outside my means, that goes without saying by now for me.
It’s the reason a lot of people end up on mse isn’t it and why we want to save small change to chip at our debts. Just had a bit of an awkward start to the year. Seeing everyone else succeed gives me hope and inspiration for definite and I feel really pleased seeing how possible it can be, feel like more of a spectator but happy to be along for the ride to be honest 😀
