Declaring 10 coupons for 2 pairs of black boots - one pair of waterproof walking boots, and one pair of fake fur lined smarter ankle boots.  Still waiting for them to be delivered so I'll adjust my coupon ration when I know they fit and don't need to be returned.
Live the good life where you have been planted.

A coupon-free purchase at a local fabric store today - I'm assuming stretch lace would count as elastic? - but it doesn't matter because it'd come from DD2's coupons anyway! Inspired by my efforts, she's decided to make herself some lingerie from a rather pretty 50p cotton jersey dress found at the recycling warehouse. Needless to say, we're not talking the Big Girl Panties I made for myself, but something rather more wispy, complete with matching bra-lette. Now I'm thinking I should have bought twice as much, because she's worked out she can get another set out of the dress! Mind you the quality of the "lace" is - not what I'd have wanted, just all that they actually had. I do feel sad for everyone who thinks we're lucky to have a fabric store so close (4.6 miles - there used to be a really good one right here in our own little town, before the retail rents went through the roof as we became a "shopping destination"!) as it's really not great quality stuff.

Hmmm…..  You get six vouchers for “free stockings”, each of which can be spent either on a pair of thermal tights or on a multipack of regular tights/stockings/pantyhose.  By my reckoning, you’ve spent 3 of those vouchers on thermal tights and 3 of them on 3 multipacks of nylons. No need to spend any of your regular clothing coupons.

    Does that help, @MrsCD?

Yes, @PipneyJane that helps! Thank you. I just couldn't get my head around how it worked. I bought leggings too, so they'll be 2 coupons.

I remember the cardi saga, and I'm so pleased for you. It's  horrible when you can't find a favourite item.  :)

Had my covid jab yesterday,   so feel a bit rubbish today with aches and pains and brain fog. Should be better tomorrow.
